We all love glitches, whether because they're interesting, funny, or cool. We also all hate scratches in our precious discs. However once in a while, these two things can come together and if it doesn't break the ability to complete the game, there can be some pretty cool results.
(example:
Sure the Spyro discs are notorious for their stuttering audio, which isn't very cool, but sometimes these glitches can take us behind the scenes, show us developer tricks, and be just plain interesting.

I recently grabbed my copy of Timesplitters 3 off the shelf and noticed it was lightly scratched all to hell. Nothing deep, but it puzzled/irritated me because when I put it into the case years ago it was near perfect. So I assumed it would be perfect in the future as well (see what I did there?) But I popped it in anyways, and I actually had some pretty cool stuff happen.
I was able to beat the game, and along the way, I had a bunch of event flags fail. In the robot wars level you're supposed to drive a tank, but I just got dropped into where the tank was supposed to be, and had to walk. Now the interesting thing, besides being able to make it, was that you do the tank segment twice due to a time loop, but I only had to walk once. I kept getting dropped out of a cutscene into weird perspectives, like seeing Cortez frozen where he was right before said cutscene ended. Sometimes the A.I. would move around and not shoot me, loading times were increased, and every once in a while the game would freeze for about five seconds. It was a pretty interesting journey. Of course the audio was completely screwed, with music dropping and dialouge either not playing or ski-ski-ski-ski-ski-ski-skipping. But it was a fun ride and I got to see how some of the levels were built when I occasionally clipped through a wall or spawned in at the end of the level instead of the beginning watching things get triggered from behind the scenes.

So, anyone else have any amazing bugs they'd like to share? I guess this is just a story time thread for people interested in this kind of thing, so please, share your stories!

My mate had that SKATE game a while back, and he really didn't take care of his games. At all. This resulted in most of the world not appearing in 90% of set areas and physics would often just die so going downhill would make you slower.
