"You sure, she doesnt seem like a robot to me, if anything you seem mechanical miss. You need to be more like our friend Micky McFinnegan here (read:Gregory) he seems to have the right idea"
Sam turned to Gregory and sent an unexpected fist to his face.
"Shut up!"
She continued walking and looked at CJ.
"Honestly, she's a robot. Ask her. And how excactly do I seem mechanicle?!"
She was shocked at herself, because she had never punched anyone before. She tried to smile, but couldn't.
"Woah, woah, why did you punch the guy Sam, that was a bit underserving might I say. Also didn't think Halley was a robot, though from the converstation between you and CJ it must be true. Interesting, well if she a robot its not like you can fall in love with one or something, CJ."
"Well damn I guess not anymore, you always seemed to lack the full spectrum of emotions, not once have I seen truly laugh or smile oh and btw that was hit but a little excessive dont you think." CJ replied.
Sam looked at Rai,
"Firstly, you obviosly didn't hear what he called me.
Secondly, yes, she's a robot.
and lastly..." She hesitated, "N-never mind..."
She looked down sadly.
To CJ,
"You wouldn't smile either if you knew wha i've been through!"
She looked up at him, pure rage in her eyes.
"Ok, well what have you been through that was so dramatic, did your puppy die or something or maybe you got dumped by your cheating ex?" CJ replied with a slowly filling rage.
"and also Rai why cant I be interested in a robot, maybe im down with the electronics?" CJ asked ""but im kidding though that would be a little weird"
"CJ, Sam don't start a fight..." He said, they began to slow down so Rai moved faster and began walking next to Halley, the only quiet one "I don't think this search will go quickly with them around."
"My only love was murdered and I was left in a street! Once I got home I found his corpse in a chair! Are you happy now?!"
She fell to her knees, frozen solid. She put her face in her hands and began to cry again. Idiot...
And now CJ felt like he deserved a kick in the nads. How could he have been in insensitive.
".....Im sorry for your loss...I...I didnt mean to bring back bad memories...." CJ walked a little off from the group. "...Im sorry"
Sam continued to cry in her own hands. She didn't say anything. All she wanted to do was rip his throat out of his neck. She broke the silence.
"Do you think that I wouldn't smile if I could? I've been living in depression ever since. i want to have a normal life again..."
"Then live a normal life, if you continue to hold onto his memory like this then Im sure that you will continue to live in depression if anything you might end up being psychologically damaged. Keep him in your heart not in your life"
As Halley kept her steady pace, she replied to Rai, "You are correct. Everyone here has been through many trials since we have landed. Their emotions are running wild. Perhaps it would've been better for them to get some rest first. At this rate I shall end up having to defend them some more, maybe even from each other. I do appreciate you remaining rational and relatively quiet."
She went silent again, as if her mind was preoccupied, and continued walking.
Although Sam was in tears, halleys words still affected her. She quickly stood up and ran back over to the group, pulling CJ along with her by the hand.
"No. I'm sorry, I won't be a burden anymore. CJ's right. I have to let go..."
"Im not asking you to forget, something like this you will never forget, but you cant let painful memories rule you."
"And on top of that," he whispered "you seem to be interested in th "robot" anyways, who knows she might be the one to take your mind of your lover."
Sam looked back to CJ. The tears had stopped and she was walking normaly.
She moved closer and whispered back, "What are you trying to say? I'm not..." She stopped and realised that she was still holding CJs hand. She let go and blushed slightly,
"Uh...sorry...anyway, what gives you that idea?"
