If you ask that, then we'll be waiting for 30 mins, so just sa he followed.
Sam turned and grabbed CJ's hand. She turned back to Rai, "He'll come. Let's go." She smiled up at CJ, still ignoring the thoughts. She didn't let go of his hand. He was good for comfoting her.
A Native Ull'navai look up at the human asking him the question, he stuttered, first time talking to a human "The-There is the Himapa fruit, you can get some off the of the trees, just go down the path over there, whole bunch of them."
Rai, Sam, and CJ walked over to were Rukork was again "Hey do you mind bringing us to Morgan, again? Still don't know this place well."
"Alright follow me."
They followed him to the militrary base, were many rebel soldiers were training, as well as Morgan.
"Morgan!" Rukork called out.
Morgan looked at them, nodded and came over the group "So CJ, you be joining us?"
CJ nodded his head.
Then he noticed Sam "Sam, don't tell me you want to join?"
Sam quickly let go of CJ's hand. She actually was offended this time. She took a step forward and glared at him, "Of course I do! I can't let my friends go off to fight without me and I deffinitly don't want to stay with that drunk! What makes you think I can't fight?!" She already knew the answer.
Sam stared at the gun for a moment, before looking at the target. All I need is a steady hand and good eyesight. Luckily, I have both...
She turned and got down on one knee, to help her aim. She looked down the sights of the gun and pointed the barrel towards the target. She fired one shot and missed.
"Crap..." She muttered to herself.
She took aim again, taking more care this time. She pulled the trigger and hit the target. She stood back up and grinned at Morgan. She handed him the rifle back.
"Two shots. I bet that was better than what you thought I could do."
Sam nodded and turned back to the targets. She crouched again and took aim, hitting the first one, with one burst. She aimed at the next and grinned. She shot one burst at it and missed, but in reality, she did it on purpose. She hit it on the next burst. She stood up again.
"You know, i'm a better shot than one may think. I used to practise with an air rifle back home." She said, remembering the great english woods. She handed the rifle back with a grin.
Sam smiled. She finally felt a sense of acomplishment. She was happy with herself.
"Why are you so untrusting towards me? I may not look tough, but you can't judge a book by its cover!"
"It's not about being tough or not, its hard for anyone to take death so easily. Rai has only pushed people away with his Entrina, same with CJ, they haven't really killed yet. You will realize it will be harder to end someone's life then you think."
"Of course I know that. I'm not expecting it to be easy, but you seem so quick to judge my ability. Like you said, Rai and CJ havn't killed yet, so why does that make them more likely to fight than me?"
"Wow, someone's wearing their ovaries on the outside." CJ said outloud. "But she does have a point at the time neither Rai nor I have actually killed so why would Sam be unfit for the rage of war?"
Sam hit CJ on the arm, "Hey." Someones wearing their ovaries on the outside? What the hell does that even mean?!
She looked up at him, but couldn't stop herself from laughing. So she did. Once she had stopped, she put her arms around him again and sighed, "You're such an idiot sometimes CJ..." She chuckled.
"Sometimes I am an idiot sometimes Im a fighter but Im always a lover." CJ replied. "Oh and by the way I could tell from your expression I was pretty much saying you got balls for standing up and arguing with Morgan so its more like a compliment."
Sam laughed again, "Yup. You're deffinitly an idiot..." She pulled away and kissed him, "But you're a good idiot." She took CJ by the hand and walked over to a nearby wall and sat down. She put the rifle beside her and rested her head on his shoulder yet again, "Your shoulder is a good cushion," She commented. So, i'm in the army now...great...
"I love you CJ...I won't let anything happen to you when we fight. And when we're not fighting, i'll try to care for you as best I can."
Sam smiled, "It's not your line. Not if I claimed it first." She chuckled, "But you need to promise me that you won't do anything stupid. And you won't take any risks if it puts you in danger..." She closed her eyes. In reality, she was afraid. She had gotten herself stuck in the war, because of CJ. She didn't want to kill and she didn't want to be killed. But it was too late. If she took back the things she said, she'd come across as the weakest human there. And she wanted to help CJ and be by his side.
"Well I do tend to do things without thinking it through but I will do my best to keep the stupidity to a minimum and to minimize any possible dangers that might come." CJ said while crossing his heart. "Cross my heart hope to di.....uh you get what I mean."
Sam smiled, "I know what you mean." She opened her eyes and looked at Morgan, "Hey, do we get a place to stay? I'm so tired...and i've slept so much already...but i'm always tired, so it's to be expected. So anyway, do we get our rooms or not?"
