Sam laughed, "Off would be a good word. But i'm not off anymore. I'm a better fighter than I might look." She bluffed, "So, how about those rooms?"
"Well see. As for the rooms, they will be ready, we wanted to know first who would be joining us. Most likely they will be ready in the next couple hours or so. Your armor and uniforms will need to be made to fully match that of a human. Rukork bring them to Maria."

As they walked, Rai congradulated Sam "Good job, never thought you would make it but you proved me wrong."

Gregory picked the fruits greedily and started fashioning barrels out of a flexible looking tree. "This will be great" He said to himself
"I believed you could ever since we got ambushed." CJ chipped in."My baby being a Ms. Badass, you just look so beautiful when you fire a burst round rifle." he continued with a kiss on Sam's head. "By the way why do you keep asking about rooms?"
Sam laughed at everyones comments, "Thanks Rai. Glad to know you were so confident in me." She said sarcastically. Then she looked at CJ and took his hand, "Well, you're going to be seeing me fire a lot of burst rounds," She laughed again, "But about the rooms...i'm just really tired...that's all..." She finished inoccently.
"Hmm...right tired but anyway do you mind if we sleep together? I dont mean to sound like a girl but I want us to have as much us time before we're out risking our lives shooting people."
"Of course I don't mind. That's what I was going to ask anyway..." She said quietly. She wasn't as scared of the fighting anymore. She knew she'd be ok as long as CJ was there.
"why are you saying that so quietly, do you feel nervous or embarassed to ask in public id we can sleep together? You know the best remedy for that is to yell it put so that everyone can hear." CJ said with a slight grin.
"I'm not going to do that CJ..." She muttered. Her grip on his hand tightened and she stared at the floor while walking.

"Its ok I was just kidding, Sam." CJ noticed that Sam was staring at the floor."Hey are you ok I didnt mean to make you feel weird. I was only trying to tease you a little." he said apologetically.
"No, it's fine. I'm just not used to that kind of thing yet. It's been so long..." She mumbled.
She looked up at him and smiled half heartedly.

"Sam I know you're hiding something. You weren't good at hiding your emotions in the past so just tell me what's wrong. If we are to be together you should tell me what's wrong." CJ said with increasing concern.

"That's not fair. You always show concern about me. Like whether or not I would help on the security of the convoy or when I was asked to join the Rebels. You always showed your care and concern about me. Let me do the same. I want to help you. Do you think that I only want you to worry about me? That makes me selfish and it makes me feel like a bad person. I want us to share our burdens not hide them." CJ found himself starting to raise his voice as finished the last part."Im sorry I didnt mean to get so riled up."
Sam let go of CJ's hand and put them both in her pockets, "There's nothing to worry about CJ. I understand all that, but please just stop..." She looked up at him, "I'm not hiding anything..."
*sigh* "I am going to believe you for now. But I want you to know that you can talk to me about anything." CJ paused feeling hurt. "I really do love you and I only want you to be happy." CJ finished talking and hugged Sam. He kissed her on the cheek and walked off by himself feeling hurt and defeated.
Sam stopped as CJ walked away. She stared after him for a moment, before sprinting off after him. She grabbed his arm. "CJ, i'm sorry. I love you too, but there are some things i'm just not used to. It's been such a long time since i've had this kind of relationship with anyone. I'm really, really sorry...I promise that I won't keep anythin from you again..." She said, walking back to the group with CJ, still gripping his arm tightly.
