Roughly what I expected. Perhaps a bit extreme on the libertarian part, but that's probably becuase I didn't take a lot of time to make the tests.

It's obviously not going to be perfect, but some of the statements are just too broad. Like 'There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment' really depends on what specific forms of entertainment and information you're talking about. There's also no 'don't feel strongly either way' button

It's also Americocentric in that the questions of medical care don't apply so much here in Blighty. And in the way, I suspect, that a lot of us probably put down we were fine with things like porn, diversity of sexual orientation, and social welfare, which in America does put you on the left of the spectrum (hence us all turning out to be massive lefties).

Finally, I don't believe my views on spanking should have to correlate to my views on government. They're similar in principle, maybe, but even that statement is made with certain assumptions.

Anyways, here's mine:

Kindof curious questions they're asking but then again these tests are tailored to American politics so I'm not surprised.

"All yah hippies best get off my green turf if you lot knows what's good for ya!"

Joking aside, mine is a nicely moderate result though.

Moderate for an American, that is.

What is a National ID card? Is it a passport?
Most National ID card schemes have been essentially compulsory photographic ID cards with all your information on it and all stored in a central database that all government departments (and probably corporate these days) can access.

Used to be a big issue but these days, seeing as you can't even fart in public without photographic ID it's fallen off the Panic List.
That is not a thing in Australia
That's because you're too young to remember the shitfight over the proposed Australia Card back in the 80s.

Well, I guess I'm just like practically everyone here on the Escapist...

Even though it is very clear that this is an American test. Down here in the Netherlands, we are curently having the discussion whether or not rich people should be paying more for healthcare then poor people to cross the gap that is now being held up by the government, and the rich heer are already insanley high taxed. (so as you can probably tell from this, I would fit in as leftwing in the US, but fairly rightwing here in the Netherlands.)

Apparently I am like everyone else on the site: far more left wing and libertarian than most American politicians.

Wow, I'm almost completely in the middle. Really, I could have answered either way on most questions.

Yeah, I guess I truly am a moderate.

I'll spare putting up the graph, but I ended up in the green corner being like 2 points away from purple.

Economic Left/Right: -6.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.95

Seems pretty good for me.
No idea how to post the picture though.
