If your religeous thats fine. When your the head of the Catholic church, where catholics look to you for advice, saying
"You can't resolve it with the distribution of condoms...On the contrary, it increases the problem."
To a country gripped by an AIDS epidemic is almost criminal. One fifth of Africans are catholic so what he says holds a lot of weight. Quite where he gets condoms help to spread AIDs from is beyond me.
This seems rich as the pope didnt ban condoms until 1964. A bit late seeing as they have been widely used for around 400 years.
Does the pope need to join the modern times?
