NOTE- Anybody who gets the reference in this thread's title gets a cookie.
The Futurama episode, The Problem with Poplers? Or was that in and of itself a reference to something else?
Very close. Said Futurama episode title is a reference to the Star Trek episode, "The Trouble with Tribbles."
Grah, you stole the answer from me before I could answer it with random trivia and win a non-existent baked good! However, I shall add to your response instead! "The Trouble with Tribbles" was actually adapted into a videogame for the olllld old DOS PCs called "Trouble with Tribbles", for which my father is credited as a beta tester!

As for the OP, you really oughtn't blame the game for the console glitching. Shtuff happens.

The difficulty in the game goes from really easy to fucking impossible in the mission where you get Elizabeth Green out I got killed or the thing your protecting broke and that is fucking easy compared to fighting the giant blob that is Elizabeth Green so the game is great but I still have not beaten that boss so if your reading this and I know you are please tell me how you beat it and if you haven't played the game you stop reading this and go buy it retard.
I pulled out my blade at full health made a bum rush to her little leg things and (this part is frustrating) you will get knocked down a lot but just keep trying you should get a few hits in, after that her legs die and you can attack her straight forward, after the first time of doing that helicopters come and I just used them to kill her from there, no hunters to deal with and her constant attacks are easier to dodge. I hope this helped.

That happened too me three times on different Fallout 3 playthoughs. Not fun. I am also on my third Xbox. The last two broke on me mid-game as well, but just online matches.

Cannonball her with musclemass and body armor or shield, if you are unsure of your skill (and you are, from what I see). Weaken her, then consume some people and when she's down, use devastator a time or two, then whipfist her or blade few times.

You can also try to bulletoive drop on it, but it's hard to aim.

I found that the best strategy with her was to absorb a soldier, hide until the alert goes away, switch to the soldier form, hijack a tank, and then shoot her little bitsy things out from under her. Then run up with the Blade and Armor and just slash the crap out of her face. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Oh, I'm not blaming the game. I just wanted to make the title reference, and it was a problem I had while playing [Prototype], so technically the title still makes sense.
