Dude, what the crap is with that? My PS3 busted awhile ago and so I'm going to get a new one soon (My 360 is griefing my soul) but then all this goes down.
And I just think: "What the hell guys?"
I mean first, the reasoning is supposed to be around Sony's legal action against another hacker. Now, come on. He signed a contract and then broke the agreement, legally, under his own word, making him viable for legal action being taken against him. He signs a "If I break this you can sue me" agreement, breaks it, and so they sue him. That seems fair, right?
Now then Anon I was all for (I know their group isn't behind this but stay with me) because they were just releasing low level information to the public about a war our country is in. If you want to fight the man, fine, whatever. The Department of Defense can take care of itself against hackers anyway against high level security breaches, which Anon never did. Now this happens to Sony.
My main thing is that this isn't hurting Sony all that much. It's affecting us gamers. And I mean, what the heck did we do? I just want to play Killzone 3 for goodness sakes. They didn't steal Sony's info, they stole the user's info. If you want to get back at Sony go slash their tires or something, it would be more affective against them than this.
This didn't make me disapprove of Sony, it made me HATE hacker jackwagons.
