Earlier today I made this thread: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.159683?page=1
People seemed to enjoy it. Hence I have made this thread where people can post and solve all the puzzles, logic problems, and brain teasers they want. Please make it clear what you are answering if you decide to answer, and spoiler any serious answers.

What conclusion follows from the following hypothesis ??

Tame lions have sharp teeth.
Lions that eat people never get sick.
Lions that never eat people have dull teeth.
My pet lion has pneumonia.

Your lion is not tame. Therefore his teeth are dull. And since his teeth are dull, he does not eat people. Although how you could own a lion and not tame it is a mystery to me.

1. Your pet lion has sharp teeth, because he is tame.
2. Your lion has never eaten a person, which is why he is sick.
Wait, what?

Okay, I'll give it a shot:

Police find the scene of a robbery on tenth floor apartment with no balcony or fire escape inside. The door is locked with a vertical deadbolt. There is one key that opens the door and it is inside. The owners are found outside of the house blindfolded and cuffed together.

Assuming the owners are telling the truth, how did the robber lock the door when he left?

On your answer, I'm not following your logic. How could the lion have sharp teeth but not have eaten a person?

On your riddle, he slid the key under the door, you never specified where it was inside.

Yeah, my logic failed the more I thought about it. Bad paradox. . .
Anyway, I KNEW I was going to miss one small bit of logic in that puzzle. That wasn't the answer I was looking for. He wouldn't have been able to get it all the way, so they would have said it was under the door, not inside the room. Lets see you find another flaw in my hastily composed puzzle!

I can't find yours out, but I'm fairly certain it has to do with the "cuffed together" part.
Not really, but if you can make it sound plausible than it can work.

Oh, was the answer to yours, "Your pet lion is not tame."

"Le snip"
Yup, both you and Hopeneverdies were correct.

As for yours, when did the owners say anything?
That was a my bad. I wrote it once, then went back and changed it. Originally it was "The owners said that the robber blindfolded them and cuffed them together outside the room" but I changed it because it didn't contribute to the puzzle. I just missed the last bit. :S

Fine, I shall speed this along.
A man sees a boy lying dead on a hospital bed.
He approached the boy and this is what he said:
Bothers and sisters I have none,
But this boy's father is my father's son.

What relation is the man to the boy?
He's the boy's uncle, I think. I suck at posting puzzles like this so I'll refrain fron doing so.

Could be a clone, he could mean father as in God, could be adopted, could be a Female to male transexual and be the boys mother.

No and no.

keep trying though, the answer will make you want to kill me when you realise it.
The only other option I can think of is time travel, I know I've heard a billion of these before, but this one makes point of the person in question being a MAN, which makes it awkward. I personally give up, I'm not intelligent enough to figure these bastards out so I'll leave it to the pros :p

Two cars were heading towards each other and were going to collide.
Neither of them had any lights on, neither could see in the dark, and neither had any kind of supernatural powers. One car managed to swerve out of the way and avoid a crash. How?

Was it a third car, one that saw that the two cars were going to crash and swerved out of the way of them?
Nope. But that'd work...
