You should see it on mine.

It refreshes the page so I have to quote it all over again. >_>

Nearly every time I click it, the page reloads.

Then I click it again and it works.

If I?m alone on this subject, then it?s going to sound very strange and random.

But, ahem...Does the Quote button ever work the first time you press it?

Is this just me? Or does this happen to everyone?
It happens to me every time I use Internet Explorer. However, for the first time since I started using IE about ten years ago (when I first started using computers), it keeps failing on me now, so for the past few days I've started using Safari. And with Safari it never happens. So I'd guess it's a problem with Internet Explorer, rather than the site itself.

Can people from now on please post what internet browser they use as well, so we can see if it's a site problem or an IE one? Thanks :).

So for me, it's:

Browser - Internet Explorer.
Quote button working? - No.

Browser - Safari.
Quote button working? - Yes.

It's usually works for me no problem. The problem is pretty obviously IE. it's a horrible browser than shouldn't be touched with a ten-foot pole other than for going to router settings as Firefox sometimes has a problem with that. Just switch to Firefox or Chrome and the quote problem will go away, and you'll get a much faster browser as well.

Just in case it wasn't noticed I use Firefox and I'm running Vista (*shudders*) and it works perfectly.

Works fine for me. You're going to get a lot of annoying and pointless quotes. Just warning you.

When my browser is being an ass it doesn't always work, but most of the time it works perfectly.

It's always worked fine for me. Except of course when I accidentally hit "reply" instead of "quote".

EDIT: My browser is Safari.

Just worked for me. Are you sure you aren't hitting the reply button?

I love how many people are assuming that it's you hitting "Reply" instead of "Quote". Because, you know, when you want to wuote someone, your first thought is to hit the button next to the button that says "quote".

It's an Internet Explorer thing. Now I've been forced onto Firefox by a virus, quoting works fine, but on IE it screwed up fairly regularly.
