Quite simply, everyone on the thread has to post a quote from a fictional source, whether it be film, TV, games, books or anything else. However, only the quote is posted. Then the next person to post has to guess the name of the character and the media that spawned the above quote, before posting their own. If you have multiple characters in the quote, then the person below only needs to guess the media. For an example, take a look in the spoiler box:
I'll start you off:
"I hope you're happy now, Jacob."
Person A post:
Cassie: [talking to Sid in her bedroom] I don't know why I am the way I am.
Sid: It's alright.
Cassie: No, it's not alright. Something makes me hate everything. Everything. [happily] That's what I like about you, Sid. You never try to explain things.
Person B post: Answer is Skins (TV series). My quote is...(adds quote)
Cassie: [talking to Sid in her bedroom] I don't know why I am the way I am.
Sid: It's alright.
Cassie: No, it's not alright. Something makes me hate everything. Everything. [happily] That's what I like about you, Sid. You never try to explain things.
