I would challenge him to A Game of Thermonuclear War

A delicious cake and grief counseling for anyone who can get the references.
War Games.

Some of you would feel pretty stupid if this is the incarnation of death.
not stupid, just horny...in a Gothic kinda way.

I'd challenge him to tic-tac-toe.
If he can't beat me, we'd have to play again.
If I can't beat him, we'd have to play again.
I'd like to see one of us outsmart the other in that game. Could take forever.

Forever sounds good.
Strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
How about a nice game of...chess?
XD I would crack up if Death actually said that, himself.
What a sense of humor he would suddenly have.

Battle Toads for the Nes. He can only take my soul if we manage to beat the game together.

Solely due to the pun inherent in the name, I would challenge Death to a game of...MORTAL KOMBAT!

You know, since we're both technically dead :)

upon finding my body in an abysmal plane a note falls out of my pocket. Death comes over to my mangled incorporeal body and examines the carnage from the vehicle striking mortal frame. He realizes the piece of paper is beginning to flutter in the vagrant breeze. He grasps the blue-lined tablet paper in his fleshy cold grip and unfolds the scrap. Upon reading the scribbling he realizes, he has just lost "The Game". HAHA!!! I WIN!!!

I was unconscious therefore, I was not thinking about the game when I was in his world.

For those of you unfamiliar with the rules to "The Game" they are as follows...

The Game is an ongoing mind game played by millions of players worldwide, the objective of which is to avoid thinking about The Game itself. Thinking about The Game constitutes loss, which, according to the rules of The Game, must then be announced. The Game is continuous?once a player stops thinking about The Game, the player stops losing.

Congrats, you have just lost the game :)

As some mentioned earlier, chess would feel appropriate or poetic.
But if I wanted to be sure to win, I would have picked Medieval II: Total War. Then he can cry while I destroy his forces with micromanaged horse-archers!
Alternatively I would have chosen Geist (yes Geist!) Because I know a glitch that will send you outside the map, and that akes you able to shoot into the map, but you can't be hit...

Personally I would make a game up in which losing was the goal just to see how the cosmos would handle it. If he achieved the goal he would lose and I would win and yet by achieving the goal he would have won and I would have lost. My guess is that by creating such a paradox I would cause death's head to overheat and explode thus ridding the world of death and sending the delicate web of life to an irreparable state of disorder. What can I say? I have a bit of a malicious streak...

Peeing contest.

;d!

Oh... who can loose more blood in an hour.

Unless being in a limbo (like someone has stated) means you don't actually have any blood or liquids in your body left. But then again, even corpses can bleed blood... A bit harder, but still. It is there for some time.

Dominoes - they'd make good projectiles if I lost.
Either that or Mouse Trap. Because whether you win or lose, that game is awesome :)

I'd play a staring contest. I will die for sure, but I looked death straight in the eyes, and didn't flinch.

Then you find out that he is hosting, it's a modded server and he is playing as himself, that being an immortal anthropomorphic being that walls aren't a barrier to.
