*I realize this is partially about a game but I posted here initially and this is more about a website and blog, so please bare with me for a moment*

A few weeks ago I posted two threads in the Off-Topic Discussion forum about "What Relaxes You" and "What Gives You Anxiety." As previously stated, I'm developing a game that is designed to relax the player. It's a simple indie-game, 2D, pixel graphics, but hopefully, well-designed.

Many of you showed interest in the finished product, so I figured I would post the website and YouTube channel dedicated to updates and such. The website has a bit of information (more to come), although the YouTube channel does not have any videos. Sorry! Both of the links can be found here:

YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/NewQuestNetwork

Website: http://www.newquest.weebly.com

This thread is mainly for people interested, and I didn't want to annoy the mods by bumping old threads. If anyone is interested, please check them out. I don't expect this thread to last very long (because there's nothing to discuss), so please understand that I'm not trying to "plug" my own material, I am posting this because people initially asked to see a production blog. Ta-da!

EDIT: first teaser:

Looks interesting mister Cameron Bryce. Just felt like using your name to creep you out.

OT: Looks promising, and if it works I'll probably use it frequently. Could use it now because there's fuck all else to do on a monday at 12:10.

Well, I don't really find your game all that relaxing. TBH I find Amnesia: The Dark Descent to be a much more relaxing game, one of the most relaxing games I've ever played in my opinion.

(I'll take a look, sounds good)

Well......color me intrigued....if there is a color called intrigued.

Actually, if intrigued was a color, what would it look like?

Well, anyways, color me with that color.

Oddly it didn't creep me out... what does that say about me?

Just uploaded the first teaser, I've been waiting to get the trailer up there, that way the thread could atleast die with a little dignity. Merry Christmas, this is probably the last time I'll be posting in this thread unless anyone asks a question.

So... The First Hour of Heavy Rain: The Game?

Well, here's a game I find relaxing [http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/541124].

Or, y'know, we could just sit back and listen to some Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Goldenrod probably. Or Tangerine. One of those two.

That game was interesting, but for some reason I couldn't shake the feeling that there was gonna be a jump scare any second...

And no, not exactly Heavy Rain haha.

If I had to apply a genre to this game, I would say adventure. It's very much about experimentation and immersion. It's not gonna be a crazy action game, and it won't be very long either. It's a short, explorative game that encourages the player to relax.
