"After finding yourself emaciated and in a state of severe destitution, you agree to be defamed by the American Government in return for the opportunity to compete on live television for a shot at financial security. You are turned loose on the streets with 4800 dollars. You must evade government assassins for 30 days. While running, you must make two daily video messages, making it that much easier for them to track you. If you miss a video drop, you forfeit the money, but the assassins keep hunting you until you are dead."

How do you accomplish said task?

For real life me: I'm already dead. I live in the US, I don't speak any passable foreign languages (I could probably walk around mexico/spain as a very noticable tourist) and even if I did, there are no easy and quick ways to leave the country or town I'm in.

Now if this actually did happen to me, I'd try and blend in and be unnoticable. I'd have to score some money quick, so I'd either rob a bank and hope the assassins fight the cops that are after me or somehow make money. I'd rent/buy a very generic car, and go into the city. From there I'd catch a flight to Canada, catch a different airline's flight to Hong Kong, then again to New Delhi and finally Tehran. Pros: US Govt Assassins wouldn't be able to get me. Cons: I'd pretty much be put in prison and executed.

Maybe I'd just skip all over the world until I buy all the mercenaries in Africa for my protection.

I'm guessing someone just read the cracked article of the day...

For me, I'd probably stay in New York or another extremely crowded city and stay with the crowd. Probably sleep on a rooftop. Assassins can't really snipe me, and if came up the stairs to get me, I would be able to just chuck them off the top if it comes to that, which is my best chance of survival.

With a little editing of the premise, here goes. Of course, the incoming GM is welcome to edit this, but I enjoy spewing ideas out

There's a new craze sweeping the nation, an immensely popular show that captivates the nation. Now entering it's third series, the money it has made and the public's fixation has swept away all objection. Even now, the talent scouts are searching the streets for a third team of runners, and the hit-men are making their plans and setting their territories

Players will be the runners, fleeing across the city in an attempt to escape the professional assassins who are being paid to kill them. When you're dead, you're out, and if your still in after a month, you win the prize money (or share it between the other survivors). It now stands at 30 million dollars, since no one has yet claimed the prize

Several of the assassins are now well known celebrities, though none have yet agreed to reveal their identities, many still have managed to become popular on various talk-shows. At any rate, all the big-shots and regulars form the first series are well known and recognized. Of course, they all have licenses to kill
