The School system

The school system is fine. If you can add numbers and read this sentence then they did a damn good job.
Though if you wanted to make it better all you would have do is quadruple teachers salaries. The system would change immediately.

The only problem I have with it is having to learn maths that won't actually be applicable unless I want to become a...math teacher. Oh well.

Also, what was said about the homework thing. Why should my grade be brought down if I don't do the homework because, A) I didn't have time because of work or other school related projects, or B) I understand what's being taught.

Why must the shortcomings of others constantly effect me?

Homeschooling seems to work better so I think that we should just axe the concept of government run education.

Parents need to start parenting their kids, EOS. Expecting teachers to act as babysitters (and paying about as much) is what's causing a lot of this mess (at least with the US school system).
