Sure it was absolutly destroyed by the PSX, and was notoriously hard to program games for, but im sure many of you would agree that there were some genuine classics on there that the majority of people sadly never got to play.

i mean, the Panzer dragoon series was just amazing, with P.D.Saga being my top game of all time

Burning rangers, sure it was criminally short, but again it was an amazing game to play

Shining Force 3, one of the best tactical RPGs i've played

Bug!, a great little platformer and one of the first 3d platformers for a console i believe

anyone else got a game to or two to add?

The Dreamcast is an example of having the most power of it's generation but not being able to market that power successfully. the Ps2 was technically an inferior console but Sony knew what they were doing with it and make it the best selling console of it's time. They seem to have forgotten all about that with the PS3. But I have fond memories of my PS2.

I had a friend with a Dreamcast and I saw a lot of untapped potential, it looked great, had some wonderful games for it.
i had a dreamcast and the graphics for some of the games were truly unbelievable - I even enjoyed the 3d Sonic game that was released for it and i think that's almost impossible to say now - the sonic game with the Whale that chases you for further ID of it - cant remember its name

Got some excellent games on it, but nothing near enough to compete with the other consoles of the time. NiGHTS and the Panzer Dragoon series cement it's place in my heart anyway.
