Why would anyone want to live in a fantasy world in which magic is literally tearing the everything apart and the natural energies of the world decide to fight back. A world where necromancers are everywhere and an entire continent of orcs decide to invade the rest of the world.

Mordor isn't so bad once you get over the sulphur and carve yourself a nice living space among the orcs, ghuls, caragors, spiders, flies and graugs. Yes, it's not so bad - better than the last place, anyway.

The setting of Dragon Age doesn't sound that bad.... Minus the multiple world-destroying evils they seem to encounter on a daily basis.
