The Spawn Thread

I'm sure everyone has stories about spawning, ranging from the absurdly frustrating to the wickedly funny. To be clear, this isn't a moan-and-***** thread about the spawning system in so-and-so game, but more about looking back and laughing about it.

So, to my great humiliation, I admit that I was spawned on my own Martyrdom grenade. I was sniped from the across the map in CoD4 Bloc, and we all know what happens next...

Another time in CoD4 on TDM, I got put into Last Stand on Backlot and managed to kill the guy with a .45 USP. Apparently I was next to the enemy spawn zone, because 4 enemies rushed out of the side, and I shot them but didn't kill any of them. They ignored me, and left me to die, but not before they did and I ended up with 4 assists.

The spawn locations on COD: WaW are terrible. Or atleast they used to be.

ON TOPIC: I was playing quake wars ET, I was falling from the sky via parachute and as soon as my feet touched the floor a team mate came whizzing from behind in a car and ran me over ¬_¬

I spawned on top of a tank on Halo 3, little did I know that I had joined a forge game. Some jerk in the game decided to do some tank-spinning, sending me into a stretched state so uncomprehendable that my eyes felt decieved. Somehow I didn't die, and was aimlessly walking around the map for 10 minutes trying to find a way back in to the set area.

I was playing Call of Duty 2 and I found two guys standing right next to each other and I mowed both of them down. Then in the process of shooting the crap out of them with hot lead someone spawns right in the middle of them and i take him down in the process. The guy must of been pissed after seeing the kill cam.

I played a match in Unreal Tournament (which I suck at) and what made it so aweful/ funny was every single time I died, I would respawn standing right in front of my roomate (who dominates in shooters) with my back to him. Not sure if it was a glitch in the game or just extremely bad/ amusing luck. Whichever is the case, haven't played it since.

On CoD4 i regularly spawn inside of people. Then the knife me.
And once on shipment, i killed myself three times with my own airstrike. All from the same airstrike XD

In GRAW the objective in team deathmatch isn't to kill other players, it is to surround their spawn and slaughter them as they leave.

Once when my team was winning so I felt safe enough to chase a guy through their spawn, as he ran behind a wall three members of his team spawned behind me. I didn't know what had happend untill they told me after the game.

Damn it, I thought you meant Spawn like Todd McFarlane.
