For anyone who ever played (or still does) on pokemon, what was your top squad?
From Silver, I remember my full level 100 team:
Luigia
Feraligatr
Zapdos
Charizard
Golem
Mew

Some had to be aquired from trading.

I can't remember really I think I went all-out lightning Poke'mon. I know it's stupid but whatever. It definitely had Zapdos, Raichu and Jolteon. Awesomeness > Skill any day.

Every time I have one of these games I try to get this combonation

beats the leauge every time. Using copious amounts of full restore of course.

Feraligator (because he was the coolest out of the 3)
Mudkip (for kicks)
Electrode (SELF DESTRUCT BIATCH!)
Gengar (because Ai was pathetic sometimes)
And That Red Garydos in lake watcha callit (BECAUSE IT WAS RED!)

been a few years since i've played a pokemon game

how the heck did you get a mew on silver? i thought that was just a rumour

I think I had a Venasuar/ Blastoise (lets face it, both were WAY cooler than Charizard)
Tyranitar
Arcanine
Alacazam
I can't remember the other slots as they were usually filled with either interchangeables, (legendarys like Zapdos or Mewtwo, or plain ones like Gengar or Pigiot) or what ever training pokemon I had taken a shine to and was training up with the exp share.

I tended to pick pokemon that I quite liked rather than the uber awesome kill em all types.

For Pokemon to be allowed into my team, they have to Feel right, it doesn't matter how powerful they are, if i don't think they feel right, their outta there, so I normally end up with a piss-weak team of pokemon that I cherish and would never trade. I devolp a bond with my pokemon, that may/may not be appropriate for my age/any age!

P.S. Pigeot FTW!
