The SSBB 'That Guy'

In terms of SSBB.

I know about 4 'That guys'. Which is good, because until we found a 4th i was sick of dying like a ***** every 15 bloody seconds. Is it because i play gannondorf and link? I just love those characters. Gannondorf has the God-elbow! How am i to resist!?

The 'That guys' all play fast, jumpy little characters. But i live for those rare, rare moments when my doom-elbow connects, and blows their pansy asses out of the game and onto the PC where they weep once again in the face of the advancing craftworld forces.

Might I suggest Ike? His doomsword is just as satisfying (I can say without hyperbole that its sheer power never ceases to amaze me), and his down+B allows you to counter their little hoppy asses.

yeah ike is a great character, one of the few GOOD slow characters, and hes AWESOME for free for all games.

I could be considered an SSBB "that guy", although I only got my Wii recently and am yet to hook it up to the internet. Oh, and I can't actually guarantee that I'll ever have a proper internet connection for my Wii, considering its position (a house and a flight of stairs away from the router).

Anyway, I'm off to finish completing all-star mode with every character.

I got most of the challenges done already, but I'm still not "That guy".

My reason is the same as yours. However, I never play against my friends in terms of FPS games, its just blatantly obvious who is doing better.

I am a "That Guy" on Guitar Hero 3. It may be sad but it's just cuz I like challenging myself to that game. I really like it! Don't judge me...

I'm also a "That Guy" on Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (wow that's a mouthful) as I have beaten everything, have a favorite top five and manage to win a ridiculous fights. Example...me and my friend were playing. He chose his favorite character Super Saiyen 4 Gogeta and I chose mine...Kid Trunks. I won every fight.

Translation for non-Dragonball Z people. Super Saiyen 4 Gogeta has about four bars of health and has strength four (at least) times of all other characters. On the other hand Kid Trunks has two bars of health and has strength about half of the other characters. Did I also mention he was a kid? However they're both equal on terms of ridiculous hair so I guess it balances off.

Considering my hatred for humanity and the fact I use gaming as a refuge from reality and the human race, I would say I am 'that guy'; my hatred of people forces me to play on my own (with the exception from online multiplayer (but then I don't have to listen to them about there stupid lives or how amazing they are)) and because of this I become ultra-epic.

I am 'That Guy' on Soul Calibur III, on most JRPG's, some FPS's (I was pretty good in Rainbow Six: Vegas and Resistance. Online and offline), Mirrors Edge and Metal Gear.

Maybe there are some other games were I am some kind of this 'That Guy'.

None of my friends have ever beaten me on Fifa 09 or Gears of War... although I have a friend who is stupidly good on SSBB.

The God-Elbow is rather slow, and I find that it's not too useful in most situations. His downward smash is good because it has about the same range as the elbow, and the first kick usually sucks them in to get hit by the second. Ganondorf's running shoulder barge is surprisingly powerful.

I'm also a "that guy" in SSBB (don't always have access to online though), with Captain Falcon and Ganondorf. However I do considerably worse in Free for alls with items on than 1 on 1 fights with items off. I just can't focus as well with all the shit that happens on the zoomed-out screen at once.

I used to be that guy with SSBM. I didn't see it as a bad thing, still don't. I 100% that game.

Once I got the sound check and all the characters in SSBM, I considered myself "That Guy"... I didn't unlock much else in the game, except all the maps.

The timing in Brawl is a little laggy as compared to Melee. It's quite annoying, but I guess you could still call me "That Guy" in Brawl too. I play it more for the music though.

I used to be "That Guy" in the hand-held Pokemon games. I would usually work up a team that could win even if their levels were ~20 lower than my opponent's.

yes it means that you have evolved from losing normal friends and have sought out, found and merged together into a super that guy group (or STG).

Because I used to be in MLG, none of my friends ever want to play MTW2 with me. Maybe it's because one of them thought a good army would be composed of two throwaway units, but everybody just kind of instinctively stay away from me when I'm playing the game.

I was "that guy" with WipeOut. But they have cured that issue as now we can all play on-line. That is pure sugary sweetness.

I know five 'That guys' at SSBB. It's annoying as hell to play with them because I get annihilated every single time.

As for me, I'm not a 'That guy' at anything. For some unknown reason I tend to suck at multiplayer on any game no matter how good I am at single player. I guess I don't play well with others

Im "that guy" when ever I play any game with some mates. Most of them don't even have next gen consoles to this is hardly unsuprising. The only time I havn't been "that guy" was recently playing Fable 2 coach co-op. The one time where the difficulty of game works in its favor. Anyone can pick it up and pritty much be as badass as someone whos being playing for 2 weeks (most of the time, this isn't a good thing)
