The star of a movie...

I'm almost tempted to say a Twilight film as a main guy so I get all the shallow bitches. But of course I'm not attractive enough and havent lost my sanity...yet.

But certainly something with Vampires would be nice.
I would like to say Scott Pilgrim even though I feel it was good but not great and that I should probably appreciate it more. Being the best fighter in Ontario, in a band and fighting for a hot girl sounds nice.

I'm actually quite weird in that whenever I watch a film, if it's a film I've seen multiple times, I like to imagine in my mind myself as a supporting character, during the film (as I say, this is only if I've already seen it several times, like half of my sizeable DVD collection), interacting with characters and taking part in the events and whatnot.

As far as this thread goes? As suggested, rather than being the star I'd love to just be a main supporting character, as myself, in pretty much any film. Just for the sheer experience of it. But Inception is definitely a must, it would be so cool to do the whole 'dream-sharing' thing with everyone and be part of a crack team of thieves in someone's mind :p.

...Just because you get to kiss Ellen Page?

OT: Batman. Or maybe Scott Pilgrim, since I would be immensely happy if my life were essentially a video game. Or Tony Stark. Hmm... These are all comic book characters really.
*Goes to look at film collection*
Captain Malcolm Reynolds. Although I don't really want to replace Nathan Fillion. Could I be Inara, just to be his (largely unadmitted) love interest?

...What? STOP JUDGING ME ON MY MAN-CRUSH!

Actually, this. Both of these. Because as a fan of the Twilight books (please don't flame me, because I will report any flames...), I can say that in the books Edward Cullen, to Stephanie Meyer's credit, does actually show emotion and more than one side to his character. Even if he is still a Mary-Sue, in the books he is much more dimensional than 'R-Patz's' (too lazy to type his full name) portrayal. And I'm also something of an actor myself at university and my old school. So I could portray a much better Edward Cullen than 'R-Patz' did...

As for Scott Pilgrim, come on. Bass player for an awesome indie-rock band, who's dated both Kim Pine and Natalie 'Envy' Adams (if you've seen the film you'll know how hot Envy is, and regarding Kim, I do like redheads in general too :p). And Ramona Flowers (well, Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is also exceedingly hot. Combined with the super-cool fighting skills Scott ends up with to fight the League of Evil Exes?

Why wouldn't I want to be Scott Pilgrim?

Hello fellow Escapists. If you could be in any film, what film would it be and what character wouldyou play?

Personally, I'd like to have been in Underworld playing Michael. He is the coolest fantasy creature ever.
hmm is that the guy who shags the main protagonist?

Ooh, I'd want to be Michael from Underworld too. Not to be the creature, but for a certain...scene in Evolutions. ;D

OT: I'll be Sol from Doomsday. That seems like such a fun role to play, and being the leader of cannibals would be...interesting, to say the least.
guess so...I really want to be him now.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
