Ok here's how it works: I'll come up with a supergroup consisting of only members from a certain music genre, then name a different music genre, which the next person will have to make a supergroup for. Also, no two members from the same band.
So I'll demonstrate, doing prog-rock:
Omar Rodriguez Lopez (guitar)
Geddy Lee (bass)
Mike Portnoy (drums)
David Gilmour (vocals)
Some might argue that Pink Floyd isn't progressive, but I'd say that they are.
Next genre: Hair Metal
