The Superman Curse

With the new Superman movie coming out next year titled "Man of Steel", let's talk about a phenomena that is connected whenever a live action adaptation is made. I'm talking about the Superman Curse.

We all know that Superman in popculture is the embodiment of the perfect superhero, but in hollywood for some reason anyone who portrays him or anyone somehow involve of said production suffers misfortune later in their lives. So I am kinda worried for Henry Cavill and hoping that he won't suffer what his predessors suffered.

Superman? Curse?


Seriously, the curse is believed to have made a 14 year old die from solvent abuse? The fuck? It's called being a stupid teenager and huffing solvents. That's what makes 14 year old die from solvent abuse, not some silly curse.

One of them died of "circulatory disease" which sounds like PR speak for "years of poor lifestyle".

Another died at 88 with Alzheimers...that's slightly less surprising than the sun rising. What kind of curse is this? Does it insidiously kill people in ways that are otherwise entirely pedestrian?
