In the year 2090 the galaxy was fully opened, the keys? The invention Hyper-Travel and Terraforming. In 2389 a group was founded, they believed in one leader, one person to dictate everyones lives, they were called The children of the emperor. In 20 years the UNSC was destroyed by their numbers and advanced weaponry, genetics, technology and skill. Then began the Era of suppression, few people stood against them for fear of death or worse, assimilation. Assimilation is when you get taken to a special facility where they perform horrible experiments until your death, from assimilation new highly advanced genetics were created and given to the Special Service. The Special Service are the Emperor's own personal 'task force' sent to kill and catch rebels, it is a brutal circle. You are a Special Serviceman ,or as they are more commonly known a Suppressor, straight out of training and sent to join a team which lost most of it's people in their last mission. You were created from pure genetics, some may not even call you 'human' but you still retain your free-will, something no amount of genetics can 'fix'.
The Heavy Marine is the most genetically altered of all the classes, they are insanely tall and are ten times as strong as a normal human. Due to this they focus on head on, heavy medium to close range weapons combat and have the strongest armor.
Spartans are the second most genetically altered of the classes. They are taller then the average human and four times as strong. They use normally medium sized weapons and smaller heavy weapons of all ranges. They serve as normal soldiers fighting and occasional infiltration.
Ghost are the least genetically altered of the classes instead they have cybernetic implants that grant them the ability to go invisible for long periods of time. They are slightly taller then the average human and are twice as strong. They use either long or close range weapons and focus on support and infiltration.
