Hello Escapist.

A story 1st. For my AP US Government and Poloticts course we had to complete multiple tests, using a link only provided on the school's network, that evaluated our politicial ideologoy/stand point. Upon completing my test, I realized there was a definitive emptieness in my pockets. Now normally this isnt a huge problem, I rarely need to keep change on my person, but my library has decided to follow the example of certian game companies and nickel and dime us for all that we have that has not been poured into the snack machines. A standard print is taken out of the tray and held randsom for a small fee of a nickel per page. But as I previously mentioned, my pockets are empty. To make it worse this was Thursday, a Thursday right before a 4 day weekend. So every day that I cant give it was an extra -7 points. And as an extra kick in the teeth, the computers apperantly only save something until you log off. (Who designed something that backwards?) So I finally managed to turn it in 5 days later for a maximum grade of 65, an F.

So my dear Escapist, share with us your stories where the system has just screwed you over.

I did a years worth of programming/web design - when it came to the exams I couldn't sit them...Why?

They changed the PCs and the only machine they didn't back up the data too was mine...My backups - The teacher had them...They also got rid of her and couldn't get them back for some reason.

So alas I couldn't get a grading/award.
