Normally I wouldn't point out things like this, but you managed to, in one post, be pointless, off-topic and use improper spelling and punctuation. Seriously, wow. I'm impressed.
Thanks

Not that I want too, but how does one cheat in TF2? Especially since I've heard their anti-cheat program is pretty much unbeatable.

Funny stuff right there.. But i feel the penalty should be a bit harsher, cheaters ruin it for everybody trying to play it fair..

Hacking? Aimbots, wall hacks, etc.
I didn't even know there was an exploit. Oh and I don't think exploiting is any where near valid enough for a perma ban.

EDIT: You will get banned eventually though, VAC is pretty good at picking them up.

Doesn't the loading page say "Cheating will result in a permanent ban"? That would include exploits...

Most games will treat exlpoiting as less of an offence as actively cheating. Its like murder and manslaughter I guess... Cheating is premedative downloading a program and using it to cheat. Exploiting is stumbling upon something ingame that shouldnt work but does, and abusing it a bit (or a lot in some cases)

Now some people will use it again and again, others possibly will stop playing straight away. But whos to say how VAC works, it might simply show all the people from both extremes, so can't perma-ban all of them :/

Honestly, this is why I haven't played a pc game online in long time. Half of my games have online multi-player and I rarely, if ever, use it partly because of cheaters. It's like cracking a game, people always seem to find a way and it's so rampant. It really hurts pc gaming, too, imo.

damn, and here I though TF2 was still clean.

I stopped playing CS because of the rampant cheating, looks like TF2 is next.

These bastards will never stop finding exploits :(

"The punishment, ultimately, will fit the crime: all cheaters will have unlockable items - special weapons unlocked via Achievements - revoked for a month."

That's a slap in the face for an honest gamer like myself ... permaban for these bastards!!

Fortunately, due to the nature of TF2, I don't think hacks are anywhere near as useful, and are thus as common. What, for example, would be the point of an aimbot when every gun (apart from the sniper rifle), is so horrendously inaccurate?

Reading these quotes I can so almost hear her saying that :D

That aside, cheating in a online game is something I don't really understand.
I mean... Come on.
Cheating just ain't fun for the others, which makes a cheater really selfish...
