I find myself to be a strategist. Whenever I reach an obstacle in a game I work my brain until steam pumps out of my nostrils in order to overcome that obstacle.

I'm a mix of the two opposite ends of the spectrum (going for mainly shooters here as I don't play other games online): As soon as the match starts, I rush out to get some quick kills (Berserker) but once I get killed, I start to be more sneaky about things, planning my moves carefully to maximise my killing potential (Strategist).

Oh, and unless I've been playing for at least a month, I'm a huge Fumbler...

Ok here's what i usually do. RESEARCH then go in with the best hoarded weapons leveled up to the top as i can for that time do every little damn thing AND KICK SOME FUCKING ASS while laughing and giggling to myself until i die 15 times and switch to a new strategy...

So all of them depends on the game

problably 1, 2, and 3. i play a lot of FPS's mainly online so i kinda do the "i will die but ill take you with me" thing quite often. also, i strive to get every wesapons and power-up thing i can in a game. also,i enjoy a good round of fallout 3, especially all the different shiny weapons.

3. The Explorer- Games with large with plenty of new place to visit and explore such as Fallout 3 or Oblivion are the bread and butter of the Explorer.
5. The Strategist- The complete opposite of the berserker. Takes all possible scenarios uses every piece of info to conquer any situation.
A mix of these two, with a little tinge of berserker in there somewhere.

In F.P.S. games I'm definitely a type 10. My friends usually give me the task of 'bullet sponge.'

7. The Monogamer- Gamers who find a particular game genre and stick to it. The ones who moan that they don?t want to join in till you put on something in their comfort zone.
8. The Grazer- Often casual gamers who are open minded about all genres and will happily have a go at anything.
10. The Fumble- the gamer who tries really hard but always seems to lose 15 times in a row and ending up with a minus score. However despite all-thumbs-no-fingerness they seem to get on with everyone so it?s not all bad.
Well I'm a combination of all three. I love all genres but put me in a FPS you'll find me ending up with a negative score. But I will allways be a fan of RPG's in general.

2. The Berserker- If you find yourself charging into battles no plan, only the drive to take as many of the enemy with you, and you find RTS?s slow and boring. Then you just may be a berserker.

First of all, very good post. Im a mix of these two. and sometimes kind of a camper when I snipe. But I do like some rts's.

My friends get mad when they don't get positive KDs in COD4, but i couldn't care less about it

Strangely I'm made of hoarder, explorer, strategist and fumble... I do tend to collect as many goods as I can even if it takes further then the limits of the game, then I try to calculate on how to use my stuff to efficiently take down my enem(y/ies), Online however I seem to need to be completely humiliated first in order to learn to play like an average, but it doesn't really get on my nerves...
So i'm a huge fan of RPG's and RTS'es, as well as FPS and fighters. Only thing I really can't stand are sport games (real life anyone?) or quiz games.

Berserker here, I always ended matches of HL2: DM and CoD 4 with the most kills and deaths. My motto, "Into them!"

I would have to say Berserker, although I don't hate RTSs. But in shooters I don't like to wait around, just run in guns blazing and hope for the best.
