As the title suggests, I'm buying a ps3 tomorrow after i cash in my tax return check, which will complete my collection of seventh-gen consoles. But i need more PS3 exclusive game recommendations. the only one that I'm probably going to buy is Final Fantasy XIII, and Possibly God of War III, but there's been small pile of ps3 exclusive games that i've been wanting to play for the last couple of years.

Note: I dislike console FPS, and I'm only looking for ps3 exclusives. I do like third person shooters though.

So far i have: (in my list of things to rent)
-Heavy rain
-both Uncharted games
-both Ratchet and Clank games
-Heavenly sword
-Infamous

But I'm sure there's other great exclusives out there, so recommend some.

There's actually 3 R&C games.
All those games look good. You should try out Resistance if you're into FPS's

There's always Metal Gear Solid 4 if you like a bit of stealth, an epic plot (well, the end of one, anyway), and don't mind being cut-scened to death.

Demons Soul but BE prepared for a challenge.
God of War 3 has epic boss battles, especially the Cronos one so I'd pick that up if I was you.
Little Big Planet but unless you enjoy creating content and do not suffer from ADD I wouldn't bother.

I would also suggest you not pick up MAG and the Resistance games. MAG is your basic FPS that promised a lot but does not deliver(The shooting feels clumsy at best, the battles are supposed to happen on huge battlefields and give you a sense of scale but they honestly don't do so and the graphics are your basic gritty, "realistic" look.) and everything Resistance does Killzone 2 does better.

I also wrote everything on the above for kicks since you won't actually pick up FPS's.

I want some recommendations too, it's my birthday and I just got a PS3 yesterday =P
Happy Birthday!.

I recomend KillZone 2, the AI is immense fun to butcher in that game because they actually pose a challenge.

Happy Tax Return Day!

MGS4 is one of the best films for the PS3.

Download fat princess, I have only played the demo but it's good fun.

It's like capture the flag but you can feed the flag, you change class by changing your hat, it's in a cartoony style but theres plenty of blood, there is only a few bots on either side but it feels like theres double the amount there actually is.

If you like kart racing, look for ModRacer Nation coming out soon (in May I think). I really like the idea of user created race tracks.

And Little Big Planet proved user created levels can work and be fun.

Quest for Booty is a PSN only title. I think it is about 15 bucks.

It's what happens in between Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time; it's called Quest For Booty. It's not a full game though, only about 4 hours long. You can get in off PSN for quite cheaply I believe. I don't think they sell the physical copy anymore.

There was game which bridged the two called Quest for Booty.Wasn't a full length game though, it only had a few levels.

OT: Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid 4 are pretty good.

EDIT: Ninja'd

Some good downloadable games are PixelJunk Shooters, PixelJunk Eden, Flower, Linger in Shadows, and Super Stardust HD. Those are all $10 or under, watch some trailers to get a sense of what each one is.
