Most people aren't anywhere near as intelligent as they think they are, they just think their smarter because they believe 100% in their own reasoning and don't realise it's not universal.

Uncomfortable truth: This comment has been totally ignored because people are afraid you are talking about them.

Said people are incapable of being truly honest with themselves about their abilities.

If they were honest with themselves about their abilities right now it would probably be the single most useful thing they did today.

I have this thing where I like to say my piece even if no one'll read it, I like to think that when it comes to Internet culture at least I spoke out.

Uncomfortable truth: Those people who were mean t you at school weren't mean because you were smarter or because they hate difference. They were probably mean because you were rude to them and made it clear you thought they were stupider than you.

Uncomfortable truth: You are a much less effective liar than you believe.

Another uncomfortable truth courtesy of XKCD: You probably don't have an IQ above about 110, the purpose of an online IQ test is to flatter you.

Well, I had to take one, an actual one, in school because they thought I was stupid. I have a 134 IQ- they told my parents the result, and my parents eventually told me. I was looking out the window a lot, but whenever the teacher punish-called on me, I always knew the answer.

Here's some truths. There is no "Normal". Everyone is weirder than they let on. The Tea Party are being manipulated by rich people who want to keep raking in money. Politicians are lying to you. Your country does everyday what people think only "other countries" do. Everything you know is either a lie or wrong.
