yeah, I made the mistake of thinking that people round these parts were interested in roguelikes. turns out, people would rather argue about halo.

P.S I give this thread an 80% chance that it will flop
It sure didn't.

Both of my threads succeeded in my eyes. 'Best movie of the 90s' currently has 75 replies and 556 views and 'Your opinion of metal...' has a whopping 175 replies and 1831 views.

Plus, I like to hang out in the forum graveyards and resurrect old threads. If it was a good thread but got no replies, I mock the creator a bit but I leave a reply. It's fun and occasionally appreciated.

OP, you've made 40 posts. Why, exactly, are you complaining?
Just be a contributing part of the community and good things will come.

(And 4242 posts... Wouldn't that get me a prize from the sleeping man in FF7, or something?)

I made one a while back in the user review thread that didn`t go down well at all (to be fair it didn`t help i originally posted it in the wrong section)

To the OP: don`t worry about threads flopping you`ll find the right formula eventually ,i know i did

If you want a successful thread you must either -
(a) Have a poll.
(b) Ask a question about god or the universe.
(c) Mention the US and WW2 or Nazis or some such thing.

Guaranteed 100 replies on that last one.

I've only made a few threads, but one of them flopped. It was about sequels. I think I got somethign like 5 replies. It's a bit sad, I actually put some effort into it.
