Which one? The cartoon, or the live-action thing that mostly just had Patrick Warburton going for it?
I have such infinitely fond memories of the cartoon. It's one of the few instances I can think of where an adaptation turned out better than the original form. The comics were fantastic, but hearing Townsend Coleman completed the experience for me.
SPOOOOON!

EDIT: Wow, ninja spooning.

I watched the TV show (although the cartoon sucked terribly) the original series was so awesome but to bad it was only on one season, but that one season dvd is sitting on my mantle to remind me of how great it was....ok it isn't really but it doesn't matter the show was still great.

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

I love how the Tick had a capybara that he thought was a dog.

My first exposure to Oedipus was via the execrable Genesis game. The first time I saw her (for the uninitiated, she's a palette swap of Elektra) I literally fell out of the chair laughing. Nobody else had the first idea what was so funny.

the cartoon was bad compared to the live action? EGADS MAN

the cartoon had actual characters from the comic, the live action was a butcher of that series with none of the whit and comedy of the comic or animated series

such a great show. The random metaphors, the random silly villains, the non-seriousness of the protagonist. It's all great that has only been copied once but not entirely by Freakazoid.

I liked the live action. I also liked the cartoon, but I found the live action funnier and campier. I also never read the comics, so perhaps I'm missing something here. But I have fond memories of both.

I never read the comic but the cartoon was freakin hilarious. I saw part of the live action show and wasn't impressed at all.
