The top kill in BF3...

Now I am just waiting for someone to pull a midair duel. De-plane in the same place, pull out handgun, hold midair fight, win, get back in plane, do some sort of loop and kill the opponent's plane before it hits the ground.

Y'know, like real pilots do.

this is an amazing kill but as a fan of online fps i dont like trick shots, there is skill involved but also allot of luck, he would have tried the same shot and similar shots hundreds of tries to hit that one shot
i mostly play the objective but sometimes i just go for kill streaks and my best is around 20 (i lost count of kills) sniping on the 2nd base on that map on offense you can hide in the rocks on your right flank and pick people off all day provided you move allot between shots because they have next to no cover and a small area to move in as the sea is on their left side, so its like shooting noob fish in a barrel most of my streaks (including that one) get ended by tanks because i play sniper and your helpless against tanks, i really dislike the vehicles in bf3, one of the reasons why i swapped to mw3

So to sum up: You hate that you have vulnerabilities and can't just steamroll over everyone using a single tactic and weapon?

Hmmm... you know, I've got the nagging suspicion that this was set up. Like, this guy and his buddies went through this same situation a billion times before one of them finally panned out.

Notice how the enemy plane didn't fire a single shot at him?

If you look closely, the plane does fire some shots, just at the plane he had been flying in rather than him himself, at seeing how the plane was starting to fall he probably figured he'd scored the kill.

That shot was pretty damned sweet. I'm also happy to see some Birigpall videos mentioned in this thread, the things s/he does is amazing.

As for me, nothing as good as that but I did get the tags of four snipers in a row yesterday on BF3. ...Although it didn't take any skill as these guys where just sat in the open, oblivious to me, my team, tanks, anything. Still, four knife kills in a row is pretty good for me.

I was captured one session of Arma II. They thought it would be funny to drag me around instead of killing me. Enemy had to stop for a few minutes, so they told me to wait in a building nearby. The place only had one way in or out, and they had someone watching the door...they didn't check the inside though, because someone had died inside and left me a rifle and lots of ammunition.

I took down 3 of them before my ass got fragged.

Well ok you did completely miss the point of my post.

If it can be accomplished in a "realistic war game" its not a fucking realistic war game is it.

This is pretty much beside the point, but you've got to be fucking kidding me if you think that the game can be classed as realistic. I recommend having a look at some of the other videos posted in this thread. Another note "physics real as we will get", again, fuck my ass, ARMA and Operation Flashpoint for starters, bullet drop of and shit, i dont know much about these games, they aren't my thing, but dont be so fucking stupid as to think games like this (bf3 etc) even come close to realism.

I would by no means call BF3 a realistic war simulator, because if it was it would be unfun.

That said, 'bullet drop off and shit' is in BF3, it has proper projectile motion.

Nothing as awesome as this, but once during a game of Rush I managed to snipe out the pilot of a (already damaged) copter, which subsequently crashed and burned into a squad of camping SOBs that was then pinning my own squad down as we tried to cap an objective. Of course, then my teammate had to one-up me in literally the very next match by sniping a pilot out of a jet that would go on to collide into an enemy tank...

I got up behind the enemy attack chopper while I was in a jet. Lined myself up perfectly behind and just below him, slowed down to where I was only going a few mph faster than he was...Booped him in the tail rotor and flipped him up-over end, turning him into an Australian helicopter. He couldn't get himself flipped back over in time and crashed. It was fucking hilarious. Another time, and this isn't any particular kill, but I went 32-1 on Norshar Canals using only the scout chopper.
