Why would you say really, the uncharted series has always been well recieved but since it isn't out yet I could see your skepticism, but have you played Arkham City? The game is a masterpiece and easily has a chance at winning GoTY, even if for some reason you didn't think so how does that warrant a "really...i mean really?"Sandor [The Hound said:Clegane]Arkham City and Uncharted 3? Uncharted 3 and Skyrim are just around the corner and the anticipation for these games is immense. Personally, these three games are probably the top contenders for GOTY amongst the fans and the major gaming publications IMO.
Which three games do the members of the Escapist think are the ones that will be in the race for GOTY 2011?
Skyrim, Portal 2, Deus Ex HR, Saints Row 3, they'll all trounce those two.

My opinion isn't fact. Look, no one's going to hate you for disliking Oblivion. *I* didn't like Oblivion. But when you start acting like the one enlightened soul who can see through Bethesda's trickery, we have a problem. And as far as I'm concerned, Gears is better than Oblivion. But that's just my opinion.By the way, this quote is my rebuttal to whatever you say next.w9496 said:My game of the year is Gears of War 3, since it's the most fun I've had in the series. I'm also smart enough to know that Skyrim will win Game of the Year, simply because it was developed by Bethesda, and as we all know, Bethesda games, no matter how broken, will always win game of the year.
