============PS=====================
I need someone who is unwilling to play, yet willing to fill in for me when I am not around (This will mostly be updating character deaths, and letting people know what I decide should I be unable to post, or should I need it, act as the GM If by some unforseen actions, I die and don't leave anyone around to replace me, and eventually get off this damn island) If you wish to be this person (And only if you wish to be him) Email me at [email protected] (No one else e-mail me here please, that's what the PM system is for)
Welcome to the Island of I-sliand from the very first day, all you ever knew was Isliand, All you are destined to know is I-sliand. Unlike most people how ever, you always knew something was off, that something at the bag of your head was begging to be answered, After years of consideration, you finally discovered exactly what it was. "What of the outside world?" You would ask your safe late into the night poring yourself over various philosophical books written about the subject, you even set the bar high a few times, and read a few of those pseudo science books, the ones with thousands of figures, that (not once mind you)begin a sentence any other way than If, May,Perhaps, and a even a few For your consideration's.
Then on your 18th Birthday, someone gives you a map, Not a very accurate map mind you But a map none the less, with the name of a place you never heard of on it. Supposedly out, in the middle of the ocean, is a place named L'Andia the only other peculiar thing about this map, is that I-sliand is located no where on this map, the only other "road mark" you can find, is a small arrow pointing to the west located on the bottom right of the map. It is there here that your quest starts, Where it may finally end. Who knows, Perhaps, this story is not for you to finish, perhaps your mission is to act as the farmer, sowing the seeds needed to finally grow a bountiful harvest.
======= Que Dramatic Music, and a slow pan around the Island======

Lets start with this bit of Knowledge your character WILL DIE and brings me to how to play the game. The Goal, Is to get off the island. Of course this task would be impossible to perform if you only had the one lifetime. So when ever your character dies, You gain control of the person you feel who's life they touched the most, of course, if your character had any children during there lifetime you automatically take control of them, no matter what, even if you ignored and hated your child, beat them repeatedly, and took in another boy to be your new adopted super kid, you would still take control the red headed step child when your character dies.
WAAAAIT!!!! My character is gonna die?!?!: Yeah... Pretty much he or she is going to kick it off pretty hardcore, and this can be determined by one of 2 things, either they age to far ahead and die, or they die thru some unplanned events (such as a plane falling on there heads, or there dear aunt sally sending them a newsletter for the church you went to that one time because they had a blood drive going, and you really needed a cross shaped cookie for a scavenger hunt. well turns out this news letter is actually laced with arsenic, it fell into your coffee and you drank every last drop, and then keeled over cursing your dear aunt sally) Long story short, everyone dies eventually, and it's up to you to leave enough loved ones behind to carry on the tradition of finding some way to escape the island, and discover L' Andia.
How does Time Work? Well thanks to space age time warping technology every week (in real life) Is 20 years in game time!!! So all actions you take during this week will be counted as significant events in your life, and we'll just count all that unsaid stuff as fluff, filler and nothing more, For instance, If you get married, at the end of a week, You can message me, and say you had 2 kids, and I will message you back, saying weather or not you actually did, or if you just died (Of course the "ghost" dying will only happen if your 70 years old, and the week just ended) Now for an important detail, some of you are at this very moment saying... hmm Whats a week? I mean is it M-Sun Or Sun-Sun or what? A week for me atleast is M-F this leaves me Sat-Sun to take care of any details people need taken care of, choosing the "next of kin" and rolling for all the silly things you people want to happen during those 20 years.
This finally Brings us to Controlling new Characters How does it work? Well, simply, you message me your suggestion for whom you think you should control next, and I will decide if it will be that person, and then either give you him, or give you the candidate I think is better suited This new character will have all the stats I have made of them ( I will make the stats when you first meet this new character, and then I will send you the stats when and if you do choose and get that character)

In The Touched, you will create a character by listing these six traits in order of proficiency (how well you perform at them) like this. (1-6 1 being the best 3 being mediocre 6 being the worst)
1. Strength (how good you are at manual labor, and even how much abuse you can sustain before you keel over.)
2. Charisma (How well your character can get people to like them, even determines if people see you as a love interest or enemy, and your physical appearance)
3. Intelligence ( This determines your characters intelligence, this not only applies to book knowledge but street smarts as well)
4. Luck (This determines all the stuff I have to worry about, from you getting hit by a car, to your dog dying after along trip.)
5. Heart (this determines how devoted your character is to a task, A character with a high amount of Heart will be good at doing things that require patience, while a character with low heart will be best doing small quick actions that require less time.)
6. Pizzaz (This is how well you can perform actions you have never done before, or have no training in and still make them look easy, Of course a down fall of having high Pizzaz is that if you ever need to perform the same action again, your chances will be much lower then before (You will now be rolling with a -1 to it's base stat) So think of Pizzaz like a modifier)
Wait... What does this even mean? Pretty much stats determine how well you do things, and I will determine your success by rolling a D6 (6 sided dice) And if the roll is higher or matches your number you succeed. If it is lower or is 1 you fail. The degree of fail is determined by how far below.
Rolling a 6 is always a critical success and will do some awesome things for you (for instance if your character was going to die in a car crash, instead he will be saved by a beautiful women who will marry, and bear his children)
Rolling a 1 is always a critical failure (unless rolling for the stat taking up Slot 1. in which case it will always be a minor failure) critical failures cause some very bad, no good things to happen (such as instead of just drinking your coca cola you stole from that women, you instead get a mouth full of blood and contract aids which you unknowingly give to your wife who dies pregnant with your son that you are both surprised she could have seeing as how she was sterile and despite your repeated tries has only just now gotten pregnant)

I CAN AND WILL DECIDE IF SOMETHING IS JUST TO DAMNED FARFETCHED, IDIOTIC OR OUTSIDE OF THE REALMS OF HUMAN CAPABILITY TO BE REPRODUCED SO IF YOU REALLY THINK I'M GOING TO LET YOU BRING BACK YOUR FIRST GENERATION CHARACTER JUST BECAUSE YOUR CHARACTER NOW HAS A HIGH INTELLIGENCE LUCK AND HEART SKILL YOUR SORELY MISTAKEN!!!! (I really didn't mean that to sound so angry P: I just hit capslocks and rolled with it)
