If you're going to London you may wanna try Camden Town. It's got quite a cool vibe, full of people who like to be different.

Oh and avoid eye contact at all costs.

Wisconsin

Don't drive too fast at night, deer are FUCKING EVERYWHERE, and they seem to be attracted to headlights.
Don't wear a Chicago Bears anything...most people will get pissed.
Ditto this for anyone visiting Iowa, with the addition that...well, the roads are crap right now. There were already massive road projects in place in a few areas, then with the flooding this summer, everything's been made worse. I wouldn't reccomend a visit for at least the next two years unless you're a hard-core fair food fan.

Also...yeah...if you want to get the crap beat out of you by girls used to wrestling full-sized cows and pigs for fun, I dare ya to wear a "Chicago" Cubs anything instead of an Iowa Cubs one! Not only do I dare ya, but I'll be there with my lawn chair and popcorn to watch the beating! Hahahahahahahahaha!

EDIT also like to point out the fact here in blighty you can drink at 18 and 16 in france so use that before you have to return to the north American ridiculously strict laws on under-age drinking.
in canada it's 19, cept for quebec where it's 18 and that can be a suggestion too, it's the states where it's 21
Also be aware of the different drinking cultures. In England, it's usual to have 4 pints of full strength lager before going to a club. In Miami, so I've been told, 3 bottles of Bud Light get people tipsy.

BTW Pedro, try some English Cheese whilst you're over here. And Marmite.

Be warned though, Petrol Prices; and thus food: are hiked WAY up. A cup of reasonable coffee will cost you around $2.30. We sadly have the worst food prices in the Western World.
I live across the street from an International Cheese shop and I loves me some Stilton and Derby cheese... also what the heck is marmite.

I also can probably handle the Alcohol level of British beer as Canadian Beer isn't American Beer, we actually have good stuff here. Case and point, Sleemans Honey Brown Lager, Sleemans Cream Ale, Wildrose Rasberry Ale, Alleycat Goldspur (14% Alc. of Delicious). Most of our beer here is 6% and many true Canadian Beer Drinkers consider Bud/Coors Light to be true blasphemy and regular Bud to be pisswater.

Again, if you come to Calgary, check out The Hop In Brew on 12th, best beer and pizza I've ever had.

It's a thick gooey tar like substance made from a yeast extract similar to bovril which is a beef extract. it's great on toast or bagels. you should also try vegimite. and branston pickle but I think you may have it in Canada.

Don't go to Saskatchewan, there's really no reason to go there AND it has the highest violent crime rate in Canada.

american bud light is water that has a funny taste, funnily enough the canadian version is stronger and has a better taste

as for places around me, niagra falls is always nice, so is toronto with the cn tower and the cne, which is starting soon and we've got some really cool parks too
