I am not even a football/soccer fan and I felt just how crushing that even was. Those poor Germans! They were doing so well and being so aggressive and managed to score within ten minutes of the ending and yet were scored on just two minutes after by a team that previously didn't even get close to their side of the field.

And don't get me started on the shootout! That poor guy, hiding in his shirt, the humiliation he must have felt!

All in all, a sad day for the Fatherland.

Will real fans please chime in. I have no idea what I am doing.

Yeah, not a fan of football really. Sounded dramatic on the radio though?

Eh, I'd have preferred the team no-one I know supports won, but eh. No biggie.

Gutted for Bayern they deserved to win so much, if it weren't for some wayward shooting it would have been an embarrassment for Chelsea. Somehow Chelsea just managed to bundle through the entire competition.

That's why they play the game :)

It can look like a complete one-sided match for one team while the other team has done absolutely nothing but all that matters in the end is that final score. My opponents could get fifty shots on nets with the cross-bar and whacky three-stooge antics causing my players to block the ball with their genitals being the saves while we only got one shot that accidentally bounced off of a cleat mark on the field but the final score is still 1-0, my crappy team winning.

That was a sweet match though. I was only able to catch the end of it (I walked in on the Munich goal) but what I did get to see was awesome to watch. That penalty kick that was taken in OT was just bad...

Well done, Chelsea.

They didn't have the better of the possession(they were away...) or the chances(just like in the semi's), but they worked their asses off defensively and had the good sense to put the ball in the net when the chance came along.

It's weird thinking of Chelsea as the underdog, but that's the season they've had. Entertaining to see them end up with 2 trophies, including the top honours in club football.

Yes, I'm a fan...

Drogba's header I almost did a Gary Neville goalgasm. Drogs header made Muller's look like a sunday league header. Chelsea could have won it earlier if they'd abandon the tactic they used against Barca. When they were attacking Bayern they looked quite troubling.

Neville goalgasmed again when drogba scored fucking hilarious. But look at that header it was a beast. The old Drog's still got it. I hope Sunderland sign him on a free, a man can hope.
