Ok so basically post whatever your idea for the ultimate game from a franchise, old or new, would be just for fun.
So to attempt to get the ball rolling:
The Ultimate Pokemon Game
-All the current regions are available and all pokemon introduced in those games are only native to those regions.
-The player picks a region to start in and is presented with their starter from that region
-The other startes can be obtained through completing a certain task (perhaps beating your rival for the final time and being rewarded with an egg)
-Before you can move to another region you must beat the elite four of said region
-in the new region you can only use pokemon native to the region until you beat the elite four (whats the point in a lvl 5 torchic when you have a lvl 100 charizard)
-the game would be on consoles or PC so that new regions and pokemon can be created and added as either a patch or DLC
-friends can enter your game to trade and/or battle, but only if you agree of course
-the games will play in the same format as they currently are but with more polished graphics
