Here at the Escapist, I think we all pride ourselves on being gamers and geeks, correct? Well, this picture is the ultimate test of your gaming status. If you can name every character on there, you have officially reached uber-geek status. I myself can name about a half to 5/8ths of the characters on this table. I hereby challenge you to see how many you can name off the top of your head. I will be posting my results in a bit. I hope this will be a fun little contest. I can't give anything out except for kudos, but I hope that's enough. Please do not dis someone else's score, that will quickly lead to a lock, which I do not want. If someone does dis your score, just ignore them, the mods will catch them out eventually.

My score was 51 out of 113, so slightly less than half. I feel relatively 1337.

I went through and was able to name 89 of them (I'm not sure what the percentage or fraction is for that), it would have helped it they had chosen better picks for some of them and had resisted the temptation to go with NES sprites (they mostly look the same).

I knew a few of the faces, but didn't know the names, or what games.

Also, I am only 15 and I haven't played any classic games. Who was the gecko looking one 3rd from the bottom, fifth from the left (GE)? I remember him, but I cant remember the game!

I knew about 75% by name and of 90% I could tell what game they came from. I guess I'm quite a geeky gamer.

I got about 70 of them but some of them are cartoon characters and crossed over into video games. If it's about video games it should be video game characters only and not these other people. Mr. Krabbs is a retard on Spongebob. Not a video game character. If we put on there ever one who made a few crappy games it would to large to see.

I didn't keep an exact count, but I was about 40 short so that's ~70/110. It's a bit much to expect anyone to remember non-titular character names from action games, IMO. Did anyone remember the vikings' names for instance?
