The Undergarden Ad Problem

There's this recent ad on The Escapist promoting something called 'The UnderGarden'. For some reason when it plays twice on the same screen (in the top ad and side ad, such as where I'm currently typing this message, or on the front page), my computer slows down to a crawl. It takes fucking forever to type or navigate away from the page. When I'm on sections of the forum or parts of the site without the ad, or with other ads (such as the Vindictus ad), I'm not having a problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

And apologies if I posted this in the wrong area. I have no idea where to report this, or if it's even a bug.

I had the same problem with that desert bus thing that was attached to the right side of the screen yesterday. I'm not getting that problem with Undergarden, however. Try clearing your cookies or restarting your browser. If that doesn't help, then these ads will be gone in a week or so, anyway.

My only problem with Undergarden right now is that I can't play it on Mac :-(

One thing that kinda annoyed me was the Desert Bus ads, it seemed to me that whenever I clicked on a different forum or tried to get to the video section, it would redirect me to the news post. However, once I cleared my cookies, this problem was fixed so no worries.

As for your problem, you can message one of the mods about it, or just try clearing your cookies.

The thing about the Vindictus is what the hell is 'The way out is through' supposed to even mean?!

Yeah, already cleared my cookies and stuff. I get this problem ANY time I access the Escapist and that ad pops up.

Should probably mention that I'm using Firefox. Maybe things are affected differently per web client.

I've been having the same problem, but it's not so bad that it really bothers me. It just saddens me to know that I have a sub-standard PC. =/

Use adblock, then you won't have to worry about it.

Why don't you use adblock like everyone else?
First off, double post and secondly, don't advocate the use of adblockers on a FREE forum...

OT: I'm not having any problems and I'm using firefox, maybe it's just something on your end of things...
