What do people who surf the net all day actually look at? I run out of content I want to view in about an hour, tops.
When I was an ALT (note: overpaid english speaking tape recorder) I spent the majority of the day on the Diablo 3/World of Warcraft forums and similar. You'd be surprised how much time you can kill arguing with strangers on the internet :).

I just got laid off 9 days ago after being with my employer for 3 1/2 years. I have no routine yet.

I've basically just been running around like a chicken with its head chopped off for the past week D:

I'm currently at Uni, but in the long (long) break before that I woke up at about midday, looked in the cupboards, decided there wasn't anything worth eating then just sitting on the internet/Steam for many hours, although it's surprising how even video games can get boring. Watched every episode of Top Gear that featured a challenge. Watched every TG special about 8 times. Watched all of QI twice (same goes for Modern Family and Archer). Did some graphic design to get some practice before uni.

All the time between though? Mostly sat wondering if my parents are as disappointed in me as I thought they should be, which is to say incredibly. I've never been a fan of hard work, but fuck me a few months with no employment or education can really fuck a person up. I mean, once you're so familiar Dave's programming schedule to the point where you can lip sync with the continuity announcer, you very suddenly begin to feel pretty damned worthless.

Mostly Youtube and checking various forums. I follow Two Best Friends and Jim Sterling on Youtube and they always have content to watch.

Tvtropes, Youtube, Wikipedia, Cracked, Wikia of whatever game I'm playing right now, stream anime, twitter, facebook, email...

Mix and repeat.

Eat, sleep and the other stuff.

Not great, I can tell you that. But hey, I got anti-depressants now. Yay! Bad part is that it has killed my appetite completely.

I am unemployed (technically employed as a writer for the university newspaper, but I'm disillusioned with how it's run right now and it doesn't offer much in the way of supplemental income), but I'm also a full-time college student. That said, I could still be using a lot of my time in much better ways than I currently do. I scheduled my classes so that for 3 days out of the week my evenings are completely free.

While a more diligent person might go looking for some manner of part-time job for some hours of work during those days and a little bit of extra cash, I instead spend mine looking at youtube and playing games. And waiting until the last minute most of the time for class assignments.

All about that mediocrity.

Thanks, CS >///<

If things work out it may be a blessing in disguise. Maybe... hopefully... we'll see....

With School starting up again, two of the 7 days of the week have changed for dedication purposes. but prior to that it waaaaas:
Wake up.
Eat breakfast.
Internet.
Vidjeo Garmes.
Drawing.
Writing.
Either visit my girlfriend/pick up little sis from daycare.
Eat Dinner (Lunch has become optional as hell for me)
Spend remaining hours Internet-ing
... sleep..... maaaaaybe...... depends on my backlog.... and if the Super Best Friends upload anything........

And than repeat. How do I survive? I have a job once a year that provides 11 an hour for 3-4months. I'm also a stingy money saver. Certainly doesn't help with the boredom, but meh, what are you gonna do.
