The Vertix:
The highest honour for any Knight, the elite group tasked with protection of a member of the Royalty.
These knights are commonly picked from birth and trained with the express purpose of protecting a Royal. Afforded the best equipment and support, the Vertix have virtually no equal, until the Royal they are linked with goes missing, in that case, all support ends, the equipment they have is all they get.
There are few knights that ascend to Vertix after training, but the few that do are regarded higher than most.

A "magik" user, as the peasents say, various implants and augments on armour allow these Knights to control an element of their choice, higher ranked Knights can expand to two, perhaps three styles, but few have ever mastered more than one. If the Magus get shut down by an opponent, they are fodder, they have virtually no close quarter combat abilities to speak of.
Most Magus refuse to wear armour, a few are seen wearing light armour on special occasions. Overuse can damage augments, reducing attack strength.
Hunters:
Very strong at range, Hunters are masters of recon and stealthly removing threats, much like Magus, if Hunters get closed down by a target, they can usually be removed with little quarrel or trouble.
Most commonly Hunters use advanced crossbows with incredible range as their weapons. Hunters are limited to light armour in order to move quickly and quietly through the world.
Golems:
The basic wall of might, insanely powerful due to augments but limted by their size to move slowly and close fighting. Golems can take impossibly high amounts of punishment before falling, equipped with the strongest armour and best close quarters combat weaponry available. Most Golems prefer to focus on one weapon, although as they advance, they can use another weapon.
Guerilla:
Masters of killings and espionage, Guerillas are virtually unarmoured, very quick and violent, augmented to blend in, they can always appear to be a member of the area they are invading, allowing them near unlimited passage unless a sensor catches them. Most Guerillas use poisions or explosives to end their missions, all are equipped with garotte wire in case of emergencies.More to be added. The Minister.

Heavy Crossbow - heavier bolts, larger range, more damaging, slower and longer to reload.
Light Crossbow - opposite of Heavy.
Repeater - chambered crossbow, holds 6-10 bolts, high rate of fire, low accuracy.
Golems:
Longswords - rather long reach, slow swing speed, high damage on weakly armoured foes.
Shortsword - short reach, fast swing, less damaging than a longsword.
Hammer - powerful against armoured enemies, slow speed and medium reach.
Axe - short reach, high speed, weak unless used correctly.
Dagger - very short reach, weak weapon.
Magus:
Fire - damages over time, can be used to bring down cover.
Ice - stops enemies dead, if maintained, can kill brutally, also useful as supporting others by creating cover.
Air - can remove air from an area, effectively choking opponents, also useful at slowing attacks.
Dark - crush a foes mind through various "walking nightmares" useful during interrogations.
White - healing and repairing damage to allies.

The story shall begin as the Princess reaches the age of freedom, along with the Vertix being called up for duty. I cannot say much more without spoiling it.
This is basically a high tech version of knights, there is no guns, cars, etc Just the augments and computer system, which is very limited to non-Knights.
Each weapon is locked to it's user through DNA locks, so you can't just pick up other weapons and use them.

Following a serious accident, he received an artificial limb to replace his left arm from just above the elbow and downward, commissioned by the Minister. It works just as well as the real thing, but lacks any sort of benefit beyond that it obviously feels so pain or fatigue, and has a stronger grip in and of itself.
