The second ep deviated pretty far from the source material. It was good for the most part, so I can live with that. What I can live with is:
How the show is depicting Lori Grimes. For some odd reason Lori seems almost happier, post apocalypse. In the book, she slept with Shane ONLY ONCE, and only used that incedent as a means of escape. While her actions were certainly not excusable, they were understandable. She was in mourning. Everyone mourns differently. She realized the error of her ways and was truly remorseful for her actions.
Not so in the show. For reasons I cannot understand, they are making Lori a character that the audience cannot relate too. A charcter with no redemming qualities. Why? It's yet to be seen I guess.
