Quick correction: Gabriel isn't a Catholic priest, he's an Episcopalian priest. Sure, the line between Catholicism and Anglicanism/Episcopalianism is pretty thin all things considered, but they're not the same thing.

Ah... really? That would explain it. But since they are now no longer ultra stupid as a group, why did they believe him on his word that he'd NOT been bitten? It takes like 30 seconds to do, and HE'd probally want to know most of all, along with his GF... :\
