Backstory.

The human race was almost wiped out. Not by Famine, not by war, nothing like that at all. It was the Matter Wave. First, the rain stopped. Now to some this was enjoyed, a few days of nice weather was an opinion shared by many. But then it started up again. Constantly, and not in drops. This was rain as thick as the flow from a tap. Billions died. Civilisation collapsed. Then as the water slowly sunk away over the years, The 2 billion or so survivors realized that the flood wasn't the bad part. There were still thousands of litres of water on what used to be dry land, and it didn't slowly drain away. No sir, it seemed alive, it spawned, expanded, moved as if it was alive. The Matter Wave, as it came to be known, was hungry. It could pursue a human down a corridor, and as soon as it held them for more than a few seconds... It absorbed the human into them. Turned them into water. And it moved so fast. So, so fast. It could move miles in just minutes. And if it really wanted to move fast. It could go back into the cloud it came from, and mix up into the other, harmless clouds in the air. you would never know where it would strike from. The humans had only one known way to fight it. Change it's natural state. Ice couldn't hurt you, and neither could gas. But this change was only temporary. As soon as the ice warmed up, it would become deadly once again.

You are one of the survivors of the matter wave. You and the other survivors have designed ship that can take you away from earth, so you can escape the matter wave. For now. Your craft can only fit a maximum of seven people. Good luck, and pray that the matter wave does not find you.

History: The son of a cold war scientist. His father developed many powerful weapons for the soviet union. As a child, his father taught him a lot about technology, eventually leading him to work with his father on Soviet weapons research. The American government found him and brought him to America so they could cash in on Soviet weapons technology
Weapons: Has turned a microwave into a microwave gun for evaporating water at a long range. Also carries around a tool belt with an adjustable wrench and screwdriver.

Kikon9- I was gonna put this in the first post when we start but since you asked so nicely.... They got it from already bottled water and water-tanks. The normal water on the planet didn't attack them, but the matter wave did. But there water supply was running out so thats why they left earth.

History- born a few yers before the flood. He was only a child when it hit. He formed a resistance of other children, hiding out in abandoned buildings etc. All of his friends died, except for one. Dans main quest is to find him. He was his best friend, named Ben. He is waiting to strike earth once more and find him.

Weapons- FAL, with hi-tech scope. A desert eagle and a huge combat knife. Or machete. A special hi-tech helmet that can give him any information and has over 40 functions.

Alright, let's see here. I'll play a girl character I pulled from another RP i'm in, she's not actually in it but she has a huge effect. (You may know her Venom >) I'll just change the history a bit aaannnd.

Name-Rosa Kitridge

History- Rosa lived a very good life. She was born to a fairly rich family and was blessed with beautiful genes and a kind heart. Around the age of 7, she met an odd boy named Simon Pearson. Simon was constantly abused by other children and even into his teenage years due to the fact that he was born with Alexandria's Genesis (A genetic defect that supposedly makes you superhuman, with ghostly white skin that never burns and can withstand the cold, radiant, pure purple eyes at childhood that progress into a much richer shade of purple later on in life, varying from royal purple to other shades, and no hair except for the hair you're born with, that doesn't mean he didn't have hair on his head, it basically meant he had no hair growing down in lower places.). She couldn't stand to see someone being abused because of how they looked, so from that day on, she became Simon's friend and protector. She helped Simon to learn to stand up for himself and to take abuse without crying. They were great friends. Rosa grew into a beautiful young woman. When they were in high school, around the time they were fifteen, their friendship progressed to something more and they started dating. It lasted out of high school and they went to college together. They were in love, and she enjoyed making him happy as he enjoyed making her happy. When they were twenty-one, Simon proposed to Rosa, giving her a beautiful Amythyst ring. Rosa happily accepted. Not much later, though, Both of them were kidnapped by an insane man and held captive. Rosa was forced to sit there and watch as the madman killed Simon by stabbing him repeatedly with a knife. She only managed to escape with her life because the police found their location before he had killed her, though he did manage to stab her twice. She spent the next few months in a hospital, then in therapy. She never got over his death and kept the ring he gave her as a keepsake. Not a day goes by when she doesn't regret not being able to save him. Then the flood came shortly after and she barely managed to escape with her life. She managed to stay alive by taking refuge on top of a hospital building. she stayed up there for a week without food or water. Scared and alone, Rosa had to fend for herself for weeks, avoiding the Matter wave as best as she could until she finally met the other survivors. She's been working with them for many years now but she never lost her remarkable kindness.

Weapons-Rosa managed to make herself a chemical laucher, which she keeps loaded with Liquid nitrogen to insta-freeze the matter water.

Physical Description: 6'4, very burly and scary looking. Has long shaggy blond hair tied off with a bandana, and is always clean shaven, blue eyes, dresses in standard hiking gear with the exception of his boots which are combat boots making him a whopping 6'6.
Background: Born and raised in the wilderness of Canada a true Wildman. Alex got the nickname "Bear" because of his huge size and deep gruff voice, but to his annoyance every girl he meets calls him "Teddy" or "Teddy bear." A very cautious man by nature, and is the perfect example of a gentle giant. Is actually quite agile for his size, and amazes people when he performs a back flip. Was originally in a group of 30 people, first lead by the famous Doctor. Dr. Hans Zarkov. Upon the doctors death all of his weapons were given to Alex.
Item: His bowie knife he takes everywhere, a revolver, and Dr. Hans Zarkov's Freeze Gauntlet. A glove capable of freezing water temporarily. (think Subzero's arm from MK)
