Rosa frowned and wiped Dan's tear away. She started crying too. "There's always someone we wish we could bring back..." She was shakingg with sadness now...
"No...he's still alive somewhere. But it's not really 'him' anymore." Dan said attempting to hug Rosa, without making her think that he was trying to start something. Just comfort.
Rosa hugged Dan "I'm so sorry..." She said. She started crying even more loudly, trembling so heavily that she fell to her knees. She didn't even hear Alex. "I-I wish I had him back... I wish I could have done something..." She cried on Dan heavily, but without making loud screams. "I-It wasn't fair to him... W-We were so close to escaping it... A-all the pain..."
Dan tried to lift Rosa up again, hugging more reassuringly.
"Who? Wait, sorry, you probably don't want to talk about it. Its just... I've never heard the story before. If it makes you feel better, I'll tell you mine." dan said, feeling absolutely distraught. Not to met ion the agonising pain in his head.

Rosa just fell back to her knees again, her tremblingg to great for her to support herself. She tried to wipe her eyes. "I-I'll listen t-to your story if it will make you feel b-better..." She said between tears.
Gotta go for a bit, don't go away.
The wave was becoming slowly more powerful, down in the ship's energy core. But they were going to land on a mountain, which the wave would freeze on. The human known as dan, he was having nightmares. He would be easy to control. A tiny, unnoticable drop of the wave moved into the mouth of dan. Not enough water to absorb or control him, but enough to massively influence him. In a voice that only dan could hear, inside his head, the wave whispered out.
'Dan... The mountain is not safe, and what will you eat and drink when you get there? The wave will be all over that planet. Turn back, before it is to late.'

Dan was running down a narrow corridor, Ben behind him.
"THE DOOR! I CAN SEE IT!" he shouted.
Dan, skidded to a halt through the door. He turned to see Ben lying on the floor, a strange mist rising from him. The wave was in pursuit.
"NO!" dan screamed, but the door slammed shut.
Dan suddenly fell unconscious and had a nightmare. Ben, was evil...

Dan let go of Rosa, to give her some space. He felt a small drop of water in his mouth. And then a voice. He laughed to himself. Hard.
NO CHANCE! WAY TO MUCH PRACTICE! Stupid wave...
"Hurry this up! We've gotta get to the mountain." he called.
His headache was easing away, but still very painful.
