On this edition of the Week in Review, Australian groups calling for censorship, repetitive strain in children, some fruit-based pad thing, gun nuts complaining about game nuts and football violence.

Continuing the weapons theme, but on a much more serious note, an Italian teenager attacked his father with a knife following a disagreement over tactics in FIFA 09. The man, known only as "Fabrizio R.", survived the attack and is recovering, while his son was arrested without incident. In a particularly ironic twist, the boy's mother said: "He's forever playing on his PlayStation, and we bought him FIFA 2009 because we didn't want him playing violent games." The iPad will be ridiculously overpriced. I heard somewhere it's 309 quid for a 16 GB one. And it's about 70 quid more for 32GB. It's pricier than the PS3! And that's overpriced for a paperweight.

In Madden 2010, theres a cheat where you can bring a gun in to the game, just like real life.

Yeah, so does porn. I don't hear the Christian lobbies trying to get porn rated MA15+. The idea of not having a R18+ rating and getting everything MA15+ is self-defeating. Censored content is easily downloaded and patched. And the implied content is still there. I'm fairly sure that the Christian lobby will have the same epiphany that I'm SURE Atkinson has had. "Oh, right. I'm wrong about this", but alas is too stubborn and proud to admit he's wrong.

Could you guys start adding "Week of 24-30 January" or something like that to the topic title? I saw the "Week in Review" topic and realized this could get ugly wondering which week in review I'm looking at if several topics get bumped.

It worries me that someday my children might go to school with kids like that. How self-absorbed to you have to be to not care about anyone else's right to live?
