Hello there. I thought it might be nice if we all touched base, creepy and uncomfortable though that sounds. I'd appreciate if you'd take a moment to share the highlights and lowlights of your week - what's been good, what could have been better and what have you learned from it all?

I've been getting progressively better at tanking in War Thunder, thanks to some cunning insider videos that have taught me a lot of stuff the tutorial left out (like the thrice-damned Battle Rating [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh6LFitHeyg&t=48s] calculations). And did you know that most tanks have the gunner on the right side of the turret??? Neither did I! He who flanks alone can also be flanked himself. Wow.

Well, I got all the bugs, all the gear, all the moves, all the stamps, and all but 6 heart shards in Twilight Princess this week. Also went to a family friends 90 year Birthday today, which was neat since we haven't seen him in a while.

The low side is that the stink bugs are starting to wake back up. So... everything's terrible and I want to die.

As usual, I have learned nothing.

Been a pretty boring week for me. Work every day, band rehearsal Tuesday night and so it goes. Tried getting in contact with a fencing contractor so I can pull down part of the boundary fence on my new block of land so that the builders can start on the slab... but they haven't gotten back to me yet, which is fun.

I did manage to get a hold of the name of a good cabler, so I can hopefully get data cabling to one of the bedrooms (which I'm planning on turning into an office) and the lounge area, so I don't have to run cables all the way through the house, which will be nice.

Gaming wise, I've been playing a decent amount of Stardew Valley as a time killer and I've finally gotten back to playing Tales of Zestiria, which I had stopped playing due to annoyances with the camera.

I've started playing Classic X-Com: UFO Defense, rapidly progressing to a point where I spend an inordinate amount of time pissing out forest fires, in the form of assaulting landed supply ships. The good news is that those supply ships bring in a lot of alien alloys and Eleirum-115, the bad news is that it's always a slog to capture one. A constant stream of medium and small scouts make runs to find my bases, getting shot down in the process by one of a dozen interceptors. I'm on the cusp of Firestorms to replace the interceptors... I've still yet to capture a live alien so I can get my grubby mitts on Hyper-Wave Decoders... Honestly thinking of starting over, this game is kinda a drag. Although, it's X-Com classic so I spend a lot of time cursing the RNG, and shouting death at my soldiers who can't hit the broad side of a freaking barn. Seriously how do you miss a Sectoid that's literally the next square over!?

What was good? I wore a tux. What I learned? I look good in a tux. What could've been better? More tux.

I maybe broke my little toe on my right foot. It's kinda purple now.

I finished Tomb Raider on the Playstation, but I don't think I can get any further achievement-wise because it's pretty much all multiplayer and apparently no one is still playing the multiplayer.
Also I've been farming Timewalking dungeons on WoW in an attempt to get the damn mount which apparently has a 1/100 drop chance but I'm up to about 190 attempts now so there's that.

Oh and I'm also exercising more because I want to lose weight but oh my god exercise is evil.

Annoying joint pain caused by the chikungunya virus seems to be finally going away after 2 months. Stairs have been my biggest enemy these past 2 months.

I bought a home cinema set, my very first, and it's nice to finally have some base in my movies and games (LED screen and whatnot). I tested The Last of Us Remastered on it, and those gunshots crack like a ************. I hope my neighbors don't hate me too much.

Highs, well the results of having hole in your heart test came back negative and celebrating my birthday. Lows, tearing the cartilage in my knee again, this tear of course you understand is nothing whatsoever to do with my birthday celebrations. In no way in shape or form did I fall over because I was drunk, honest.
