The weird usergroup lag

Hi.
Ever since the new design, I've had some problems with the mlp usergroup chat. It seems like it becomes completely innacessible for 10-15 minutes, and often kicks me completely out of the group. After a while it settles down, but it still takes ridiculously long to load the chat. I just took the time: Two minutes and 45 seconds! And that was a fast load compared to some other times! The rest of the Escapist is loading in mere seconds.
Is it just as bad in other user groups? Is this something that can be fixed? I love the escapist, and the MLP usergroup chat is much of the reason I come here. But the way it is now, it is nearly impossible to use.

Most my user-groups seem to be working okay, with the exception of a new one I've made since the changes that won't show any chat comments by me or someone-else, though the recently-updated time changes and if chat notifications are marked as "on" then I'll receive the chat message through PM.

Yeh, It mainly lags when I try to join the pony chat, but not when I join the chat of an RP i'm in right now.
