*ahem* What if, for a day, everyone in the world would learn how to love, if we dropped our guns and opened our arms, if we would forget our petty arguments and got along, if we forgot the human nature to hate and realized the human potential to love, if everyone, no matter how different, would hold hands in unity, if, for a day

We'd immediately pick them up as part of a strategy to one up someone. A victor would be declared.

That would mean, aliens have invaded our world and was going to destroy us all.

Democrats would go, "one down, 3094340983 more to go."

What if babies being born started to have a mutant power. How would humans deal with that?

The Governments would loose a fortune in arms deals and loose their control over thier populations. It wouldn't last long. Also, protest song writers would get a day off.

What if in 1990, instead of leaving 10 Downing street graciously (sort of) Margret Thatcher revealed herself to be the Devil and descended back into Hell taking with her a younger David Cameron?

I think it would mean that Jesus had come back.

Or your deity (or lack of one) of choice,

What if the voting regulations in the UK (my country) were changed, and Serj Tankian, the entirety of Linkin Park, Greenday, and Muse, were all to join together and form a new political party to go up against the coalition at the next General Election?

The government would not loose a fortune, most of the money made by governments comes from taxes, but (if this did go on long enough) the governments would loose some control over their populations, but that would only be bad if the people of the world were planning an overthrow of their governments which is not mentioned above (it also would be contrary to what was said in a sense)

Then survival of the fittest would be even more destroyed than it is now, and humanity would never progress as a species.

She wouldn't be very attractive. Mustaches look terrible on women

What if? What if?!? What if I am standing in the shower and slip on a bar of soap?

Oh my God, I could be killed!

Seriously; What if Cracked.com never was?

Then we would go about our days as though it was never there. Undoubtedly another outlet/s, similar to, but not quite the same, would fill the niche.

What if in fifty years, most 'first world' countries have managed to relieve themselves, almost entirely, of their ancestral mythological baggage?

I would vote for that.
