Am I the only one who thinks it's pointless and a waste of battery power? I assume Nintendo made it to offer a new sense of immersion in their games, which it doesn't. The better quality sound coming from the TV is better, IMO.

I haven't played a game where it's that big of a deal. The most I can think of is the reloading sound in RE4.

what about the cell phone style in No More heroes? I thought that was pretty awesome

It definitely has its cool uses. Though probably not enough to justify its production cost.
